- Ran into a shoggoth… outdoors. Biggest nope I ever voiced.
Found an… aluminum keg inside a street sweeper. Hey why don’t you sweep up that truck while you’re at it. It’s blocking my way.
Then that means you found my contribution
EDIT: Several zombies are mobbing Gustav. He gives zero fucks.
EDIT 2: After bringing a glorious bounty of military composite plates to my tank, I rolled up beside a mob on undead trashing a car, and let my own turret, the atomic mini-tank’s M2 Browning, have some fun.
Got a good safehouse going in a safe hood. Dont have to board up the windows because theres no more zombies to smash them.
Bumped into a museum I looted earlier and set the front fucking door on fire.
I hate how theres no windows anywhere.
Ended up running through flames. Thank god for nomex and leather.
For the first time ever, I’m actually seeing a small neighborhood economy pop up around my place - theres 4 NPCs around my spot, besides the one I live with. One is “The local shopkeeper”.
I’m so happy to get that feeling of adventure again - I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT! YEAH!
Burn down school while high as fuck - Check.
Hoard food - Check.
Get cool leather armor - Check.
Butcher NPC’s mom - Check.
Start selling drugs - Check.
Dehydrate an entire basement of giant spiders - Check.
Now I’m looking round the hood for a good motorcycle, so I can get a Tron Legacy ending!
So there was this NPC in the neighborhood. Didn’t like him much.
I was dragging a DED scooter back to my place and came across this guy.
He told me to drop my scimitar and get lost before he killed me.
I pick my scimy back up and proceed to my safehouse, park the bike, go inside to sort loot.
I hear glass breaking. Low and behold - same guy is burglarising my place with a short bow. And oh look - now hes eating a 9mm bullet.
And thats how I killed my first ever NPC. My character doesn’t even feel guilty (unless thats supposed to kick in later).
Starting to wonder if I should let the Mycus do a big takeover in one area before burning it all - as running around torching patches of fungal ground is time consuming compared to causing a massive inferno in a large fungal area like in fungal blooms.
Of course, there’s still the no fungal mod, which I love.
Now, if I’d remembered to bring my save back onto the laptop…
EDIT: Oh well. Gonna do another game on the laptop I guess. Feeling like the school scenario. Am I the only one to see the profession title “poor student” and initially think of the “poor grades” meaning instead of what was intended? o3o
