What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

I was driving in my Motorcycle, Scavenging food & water I came across this:

hard to tell from just a picture, but it looks like a standard military wreck site… just in a weird spot and with no soldier zombies. If there’s a black box nearby (or in the wreckage when you clear it), that’s what it is. Otherwise… yeah, a bit odd.

The car got wrecked when the thing came down on it. It will happen with cars, building, trees, depending on where the wreck landed.

The odd part in picture is that there’s a hatchback (Or what’s left of it) in the rubble. Well, One Third of it…

Hatchbacks are actually that small. All the ones i’ve seen, anyways.

Planning to make a carriage typoeof design for a car, wide interior witha bed, etc, all that stuff. Unless you guys have any other designs, but I wanna do a unique vehicle either way.

Shoot Ruger 10/22 at a turret. Dozens of hits deal NO damage.

Carve throwing sticks. Kill it in 5 hits.

Gonna see how much of a morale boost I get from using an MP3 player powered by a UPS.

If memory serves I think the morale boost from an MP3 Player caps at like 50. Now I’m reminded that I still need to convert all my electronics to run off of rechargeable UPS’, I got an A7 laser rifle and V29 laser pistol from a Cryo Lab Finale that I’ve been itching to try out.

Hell, I still haven’t really played around with the UPS in general.

Any real benefit to converting a mundane device to run off the UPS?

While the advanced UPS can’t, you can convert regular UPS’ to be rechargeable. Carry one of em around and it’ll keep all your UPS energy compatible or converted gear and equipment fully charged. Then when it’s dead you just chuck it in your car’s recharging station and pick out a fresh one. Plus if you find the coveted UPS Power Bionic all your gear can then charge from you bionic power supply.

The normal UPS doesn’t really do much. A UPS + a tool with a UPS conversion seems to drain at the same rate, so basically a normal UPS is just a battery storage. Same with an advanced UPS, with a bigger capacity.

The pretty dang rare UPS CBM is much more efficient though, if you got a decent amount of power storage and joint torsion and other power generating bionic. You pretty have infinite ammo with laser pistols, and the power use is cheaper. A tazer that costs 100 batteries to use only costs 10 bionic power, and so far the mp3 player uses so little power that I can keep it activated all the time.

Basically, UPS bionic + any tool that can be modded with the UPS = infinite use without searching for batteries.

Seriously. It only takes one bionic power to use a modded electric jackhammer.

Perfect, now if I find a UPS bionic in this lab… owo

For me, more often than not I found it in brutes. Maybe bio-operators. Once per character on one world.

So, basically, yeah, start praying to the gods of RNG.

I’ve cleared six Lab Bionics Finales thus far and haven’t caught wind of it. Got five Time Dilations and seven Teleportation Units though… those two are also the only Bionics I ever seem to find in banks to.

Shocker brutes are pretty numerous on a high spawn rate, so they’re kinda better for searching for some nice bionics.

And I just had to turn Mundane Zombies on… ;w;

Odd, there IS a bio-op in this room though.

Definitely a bug, I have it in my sights…

Go ahead and ruin Azrad’s exercise in batshit lunacy, yes. owo

It’s like War of the Worlds, but our secret defense isn’t microorganisms, it’s plentiful atmospheric oxygen and pyromaniacs.

Found a Taurus Raging Bull in an LMOE shelter near the bandit campt. Went back to the refugee center.

EAT SHIT

Right after this, I went to speak with the old guard rep, and went back on the ‘teach me something’ menu.
Game crashed.
I’m the one who eats shit now.
