Need more survival skills? On the other hand, even with an over 10 survival skill, I’ve been getting mostly power storages lately.
Oddly enough, I just ended up collecting them now. Stopped once I got 5k bionic power, which I guess is already high. 109, and planning to collect more.
Aside from that, mapping out areas to make mini-bases. One’s in a single forest tile beside a really long bridge. Just a simple tent, some crates, and whatnot. I wanna make different kinds of bases.
I wanna find the close combat bionic that they seem to only drop, since it has a bionic fighting style. Never tried martial arts when I got it long ago, and now I wanna see how handy it is.
Going on an atomic coffee, adderal, and mp3 binge to learn all the recipes on all the books I’ve had. Taking coffee three at a time, so I have no idea how much sleep I don’t need.
So, after the reading is over I might binge on sleeping pills or use the vibrator until the atomic kick is over.

Frick man, don’t make you guys heart explode xD. I just recently binged on adderal and adrenaline injectors. Stimulant overdosing is the bomb for reading books. Got to 29 INT with an overdose of 136% stimulants. This got me from cooking 1 to 8 in about 2-3 hours, and the recipes of about 10 books in another few hours. I am gonna try adrenaline injectors, atomic coffer, and adderal next chance I get, see how high I can get the stimulant %.
A permanent mp3 UPS with the bionic seems to completely prevent stopping from reading due to low morale from the lab books. On the other hand, it still takes forever to learn the recipes. From full and slaked to famished and dehydrated and not every recipe from Dionne has been learnt.
I hate Dionne. I hope she got eaten by a shoggoth.
Next time, I’ll have a character who’s an optimist and stylish, and see if I can get a permanent elated mood. Right now, she’s just a cannibal and one piece of human meat is enough to push her to elated due to the 78 morale boost from the mp3. Seems to be the limit, 78.
Found a crash site full of CBMs. There was like 10-15 of them, of which I didn’t have 3 (I’m pretty far by now, so 3 is huge). It was also nice to find out recently that shoveling is super fast now, 12 seconds per tile. I don’t quite understand why my chances to install the CBMs are oddly low, with 29% chance to fail (the muscle augmentation CBM), while my Electronics = 10, First Aid = 8, INT = 12.
Oooh, so THAT’s where you get the biojutsu style?
Oh well, I’ll settle for the +2 strength bionic. And a power storage mark 2. >w>
After consulting with an oracle it turns out the zombie bio-operator drops CBMs from the bionics_mil item group. Meaning bio-operators have a chance to drop no less then 58 different bionics, alot of which are rather mundane, but also include things like Artifical Night Generator, Cloaking System, Subdermal Carbon Filament, Monomolecular Blade and Close Quarters Battle. One day I’m gonna find the latter and become Big Boss, or at least Raiden, I’m already basically a Cyborg Ninja anyway.
What’s your mechanics skill? I know that also has an effect, albeit it’s the smallest, but it’s also the only one you can continue leveling effectively forever.
Dehydrating fruit. Gah, around 1k blueberries stored in minifridges.
Today was a day filled with tedious crafting. Gonna make a small storage area filled with wooden kegs of drinks I may never drink, but will be there for the look of the thing.
And they die via cash cards. I have the electric protection bionic in my bionic rack, but I’ve been kinda resisting using it, and I don’t have anything melee on hand that’ll protect me from shocks, so I stuck with punching him with a cash card.
Currently picked up the latest experimental, used the firefighter scenario as usual. Off to a great start, small town minimal resistance. NPC that spawned with me is my buddy and cleared out most of my surrounding area around the fire station. Zombie firefighter had a water cannon on it so i will probably use it when i get a working vehicle up and running. There were two grocery stores in the immediate area next to my fire station and i cleared out both and all the houses nearby. I have a TON of dry good foods which is great and have some decent reading material. I think i may have found a new vehicle (for me at least if it isnt), its a SWAT truck. Its fully decked out with steel plating and has a lot of room in the back. In the rear compartment there are a row of 3 seats on each side, all of which literally littered with weapons, ammo, and armor (jackpot)! It takes diesel and its missing the engine but when i get my mechanics up high enough, it will probably be my new base.
That’s a freaking nice fine, I’m stuck with my hippie van and currently looking for a buddy to keep me company.
Might take someone from the refugee center.
On another note, I killed the graboid again and became a Marshal for the Old Guard. Feels good, man. My next mission is to kill a raider leader who’s hiding in a swamp off to the road near the evac shelter.
I haven’t played in awhile in a long time as well, gotta say with this start, considering its a experimental build as well, this game is really polished.
Update- Cleared out the church behind the fire station, got some nice braziers so now shouldn’t have to drag the wood stoves from a nearby restaurant for light/cooking source (yes i do that). Unlucky for me though i haven’t found one fucking knife for butchering on any dead body or building. There was a nearby office complex as well and the parking lot had a electric powered bike (the one with the electric motor and pedal combination) so now i have some early form of transportation. The SWAT truck yielded me some SWAT armor (nice), Kevlar vest that fits. 2 tear gas grenades, a M9 Beretta with like 30-50 rounds of 9mm (I dont remeber) a shit ton of spare magazines, a HK UMP45 with no ammo, and a couple of other things. At this point i will probably read my under the hood book and work on getting the proper tools to dropping a engine into the truck and rolling outta here.
