NPCs seem really fast so far as I hunt them down. I’m on an open field, I check my map and there’s an NPC on a forest. I go after him, and next thing I know he’s managed to cross all over the other side of the forest.
Also, having a high zombie spawn rate seems to eliminate the need to craft survivor gear. If I manage to find a basement, there’s enough survivor zombies that’ll provide me with nearly all the survivor gear I need.

Yeah, if you find a survivor/smoker basement with spawn set to x20, there will be 100+ zombies down there, and half or more of them will be survivor zombies… yeah, you get LOTS of good stuff.
For some reason, I seem to find that combo most often in weapons basements… the combination makes it feel like winning the lottery or something.
Now, if I could just find a UPS CBM and a power armor helmet to go with the 3 suits of power armor I’ve found…
Also, just to be sure… there’s no way to make a UPS CBM is there? And WHY BLOODY NOT?

Yeah, I made one of those… but you still have to have a UPS to power the suit, right?
And yeah, I’ve got 2 hauling frames - and I just found a helmet! yay!
The power armour interface is used to run PA using your bionic power. It’s like a specialised internal UPS (probably more efficient).
I desperately need a frame myself. I’ve found somewhere very dangerous to explore and I don’t want to go in there in my street clothes.
So, almost died again. Was exploring a mansion, when all of the sudden the game starts slowing down. So somehow I first think, hrm my computer must be doing its computer-slowing updates again. I’m deep in the middle of the mansion, and then I notice smoke. I think, huh, never saw a smoker zombie in a mansion before.
Then I see the fire, and I’m pretty much oh crap. I run towards the nearest window, smash through it and hope the roof doesn’t collapse, and escape just in time before the fire eats through the mansion.
I am guessing the CVD machine in some labs doesn’t actually do anything yet. Despite what that one material that allows you to make ceramics says.
Hmm, my chainmail is gonna have to be replaced with some hardier soon, once I have the fabrication skill to make better stuff. Might step it up to light plate armor, the mod I’ve been working on buffed it to not be inferior to mail. owo

Runners and Predators should be gone, and I just submitted a PR to remove the new acid ones as well. Should be just a day or two before it’ll be in.
