Also I’d say the game totally needs craftable burritos now, except they’re unhealthy so I’d never eat them because colds suck.
Foolish question: what’s the tile in the centre of the facilities on the right side, with the cyan background?
I actually had a FOODCO but it was wrecked by a hulk and I installed a chem lab in its place instead.
The H? That’s the all-important minifridge, packed with burritos (of course), tacos, pizzas, and french fries. It’s also got steel plating, to protect the precious cargo.

Man, that sucks re: the kitchen buddy
Also, I must’ve had a brainfart. I didn’t recognise the minifridge tile with steel plating.
After exploring town found several military drop crates which two had explosives in them, i used one of the dynamites to blast my way into the bank which to my surprise actually worked, then i smashed open all the safes with a sledge hammer a zombie oh so kindly gave to me from its cold dead hand, and then found basic power armor in the first, light power armor in the second, and the third one had a money bundle… i just need to figure out which one will be best to use
Light. And you’re luckier than I’ve been with bank vaults. I smash my way around the first gate using a sledgehammer and hydraulic muscles to get through the wooden walls, then hack the terminal, and then crack the safes with a stethoscope so I don’t damage anything inside, and then I find, like, money, and a pocket watch, and an empty safe and shit. I’ve gotten like two bank vaults of lolnothing so far.
Finally figured out the vehicle system a bit. Got irritated my Electric Car won’t charge, and after driving it back to my base I decided to go find something simpler. Found a bike with a sidecar and dragged it back because the engine was dead. Stripped off the side car, made a foot crank for it, found another dead bike with a good condition saddle and went pedaling around. Got my driving skill to 1 at this point, and got myself into a bad part of town looking for more leather to make a helmet. Slashed my way out with a broadsword and hopped back on to cruise to the nearby clothing store.
I must have a fucking ridiculous driving skill in real life, as I can slide through traffic and around pedestrians on my bike without a problem, often while drunk.
Is there any kind of listing for the combat styles? I sure as hell seemed to get hit less using my kukri, but the broadsword often one hits enemies and I can’t use Eskrima with my broadsword which seems to be the culprit there. I’m pretty banged up after clashing with ~12 zombies and maybe eight others I fought singly which seems odd as last time I was in that situation I didn’t have my armor yet and not a single body part hit yellow.
Well, a bunch of things have happened, following the dropping of a nuke on myself, I’ll just highlight the most interesting. I found these bushes in the middle of the road. Got 35 Berries.
I decided not to eat any, because I already have plenty of food, but they’re there if I need em’. I also just got here, to the bottom level of a mine. Found this sick ass dagger and a tentacle dog that I’m about to fight. Dunno what the dagger does yet. Hopefully it won’t just rain down hellfire like my Breathing Napkins.
I’ve found like twelve Rivtech weapons in this mansion and several thousand bottles of vodka. No ammo.
Rivet, where’s the Vodka adaptor for the weapons I seem to be missing?
The adapter is you use the vodka to make strawberry surprise, then drink the strawberry surprise until you’re so drunk you just throw the guns at the zeds.
I dunno about the eskrima stuff, but bikes are a good choice! That said, are the solar panels on the electric car in good condition? If they’re damaged, I believe they have more difficulty gathering charge. How about the batteries? Damaged batteries will actually leak charge. Are you keeping the car loaded in memory? (You can do this by only saving while the car is in your reality bubble, which will keep it from being unloaded from memory.) The car will only gather charge while loaded in memory (and while the sun is out, for that matter). If you have the skill, you can increase its charging speed by transplanting solar panels from other electric cars (or its maximum charge by transplanting storage batteries, for that matter).
That’s an awful lot. I took out a whole fungal flowers zone and only found seeds. (I did plant one though and will be trying the berries when it grows.)

Masochist is not worth 2 points. Focus penalties from pain cancel out any kind of benefit you could get from it.
I know, right? I like the flavour (and the thing where it apparently makes you more likely to roll Cenobite before other post-thresh Medical traits), but it’s just not useful in its current state of balancing, and also that extra step every time you use your soldering iron is a bit irritating (at a bare minimum, I’d move cauterizing yourself for fun down to option 2 so you can just hit enter again). To be useful it’d need to be cut down to 1 point and get a significant efficacy boost.
Today, Officer Patrick Murphy died in the line of duty at the hands of a Rot-Weiler. His day had only begun, but at least he lasted longer than Gregory Royce, who got gunned down by a turret posted directly outside the doors of the evac shelter.
In another city, Rosa Lord the mechanic cleared out a nice little section of town around her garage with her new friend Claire. She then fixed up an electric car and pulled it into the shop before sealing up the doors and calling it a night.
On the outskirts of that same town, Jaina Lawrence the meth-dealer siphoned all the diesel out of a semi-tractor and poured it into a military supply truck… which she then used to ram through the walls of the locked doors of the pharmacy. Soon the area was swarming with undead, but .
