Finally found one of those horror spawning fault lines…but it doesn’t spawn any horrors. Was looking forward to making a base smack dab in front of it and building up an artifact vault.

Been bugged for as long as I’ve been around. Betting the spawn locations are Off–dark wyrms had a similar problem.

I’ve started playing again, newest experimentals have some cool new stuff in them

I got into a museum and proceeded to smash everything. 2 flinlock pistols and a rifle. Then a warhammer and a leather helmet.

…And then I noticed the grey ASCII character on the greyish tile in a bottom corner… plate armour and boots to match.

Hahahah let’s GOOO!!!

The encumberance is punishing, but totally worth it.

The plate armour boots are amazing actually.

Once you fit them they’re only 1 encumbrance but they’ve got amazing protection.

Found RM13 combat armor.
First time I have seen one since the armor nerf so I put it on and a dragon skin vest and a trench coat on top of that. And then I decided to attack a bandit camp to test my new armor.

I smashed a window jumped inside and started shooting with my H&K 462A5+++++++++++. There were three bandits. Killed the one wielding a shotgun first, then I killed the nailboard wielding one because he was in my face and the last one had a crossbow.

After killing the bandits I was admiring my relatively light wounds and shredded trench coat when I realized that I forgot to turn my armor on. That dragon skin probably saved my life.

In forests. It’s disguised as F tiles, but I believe the name still shows that it is, in fact, bandit camp/cabin. They’re very very rare, though.

So I’ve just learned hemolytic parasites are a thing that exists. That would explain why my character became starving in a little under a day.
