Kinda makes me wish I could heal her (lolno if I found medical supplies on 0.01 item spawn I would never give them to anybody, no matter how awesome) or get her to wear better armor so I can keep her alive a little longer.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the best thing: She’s smart enough to use an actual weapon as her weapon and she doesn’t continuously switch out of it.

My new character, Jessica Bloom, ended up gathering a lot of supplies, food, and gear in her starting shelter from looting the miniscule starting town that she had that happened to have a pawn shop and a lot of handy military gear. I was going through my gear, taking off all the stuff I was wearing to replace it with decent armor, when I found a flare gun and a bunch of ammo. Like an idiot, I had to run outside and find something to shoot with it. Circling around my base, I ended up finding a normal zombie between the character and my base. I pulled out the gun, grinned, and shot it at the zombie, barely missing! Which resulted in the flare hitting the base, starting it on fire, and destroying all of my gear inside.

Go me.

Possibly an issue with that “z-level” thing of Frostwood’s, if you’re running experimentals less than a week old. If so (the place where you came in, at the z-1 level is another anthill-entry with dirt mounds and all that), you’re authorized to debug long-range teleport to z=0, if you don’t have the gear to carve out an upstair.

It’s got a bad habit of sending you into solid rock when going from z=0 to underground. Underground to underground is generally safe enough. Going back to the surface is likewise pretty safe.
