I really do love these, probably my favourite vehicle part, perfect for small vehicles. The Bastions cargo space is about to go up by orders of magnitude!

Well…never seen a Kevlar hulk before. It just killed one of my companions. I have five 32 round Magazines on my person for ma little souped up Uzi. Only one thing to do.

Holly flinched instinctively as the bodies of the undead collided with the Bastions bumper, bounced off the bonnet and rolled away. There were zombies and fungal monsters everywhere battling it out in the streets, off in the distance she could hear rapid and sustained gunfire. She turned the stereo up to drowned the racket out, focusing on weaving between the various brawls. If her vehicle got stopped here a terrible death awaited her, “Maybe this wasn’t the best of ideas…” She mused aloud. A quick look to the left as she crossed a junction showed the source of the gunfire, a road block, probably one of the automated defences… with an absolute army of the dead besieging it. She gunned the accelerator, even if it was a human manned barricade there was nothing she’d be able to do.

Hopefully a one off trip, the city outside of the area I cleared around my base is an absolute nightmare.
Totally worth it though, this should be enough for all my mutagen needs.

Holly groaned, pain mounting as she injected the final targeted purifier. The last few days had passed in a haze of pain and unconsciousness as her body dealt with the heavy changes the mutagen treatment had inflicted on her. She felt weak as a new born but it was all worth it, she could tell the effects were taking hold and her careful planning had paid off. Soon she would recover, soon she would be able to test the new limits of her abilitties.
One gargantuan mutating session later and here are the results:
I lost a few good ones as I purified the bad but it was more then worth it IMO, very happy with the results. Now lets see if she picks up mutagen addiction over the next few days, fingers crossed I got lucky and she misses out on it.

I’m honestly begining to think I should stop using meth as a stat boost substance
I’m genuinely feeling bad about all the abuse I’m putting Holly through at this point. Any advise for a better combination of int boosting substances? currently I’m using atomic coffee + electric cigarette + addereal + meth for the really hard installations to get +10 int. It would be nice to get the same but I don’t mind it being a bit less.
Becoming Elated also works, but is increasingly difficult to do without serious morale boosts. You’d need to be spiritual, gourmand, or bookworm+optimist to get it nowadays.
And making your survivor elated is basically the opposite of abuse, so that’s a plus.

I haven’t updated for a while so I can probably get the elated status easier, I’ll have to try that instead. Thanks for the help.

As a follow up for this, I’ve managed +7 int from a combination of crack + electric ciggy + addereal, not really sure if that’s better but at least I don’t have messages popping up telling me my survivor is explictly suffering. I’ll have to see what the fall out is in the long run though
