What weapons would you like to see in the game?

Just thought I’d make this in case anyone had some thoughts on firearms they’d like to be included, either in the vanilla game or in a mod. Never enough dakka!

AKM
Browning Hi-Power/M2035 Hi-Power Variant
Beretta M1934
Beretta M1951
Nagant M1895 revolver

I can kick us off: Two variants of the Browning Hi-Power would be cool:

The original M1935 Browning Hi-Power is a fairly common handgun chambered for 9x19mm Parabellum. It’d most likely spawn in civilian homes. It’s got a spacious (especially for the time it was first introduced) thirteen-round magazine.

Then, a fictional Hi-Power variant:

FN M2035 Hi-Power Pro
"This redesign of the classic Browning Hi-Power is chambered for FN’s proprietary 5.7x28mm cartridge."
Basically a “tacticool” version of the Browning Hi-Power in 5.7mm, it would probably have polymer grips, as opposed to the wooden ones of the original, and be slightly more lightweight.

Feel free to chip in with your own suggestions, everyone!

Ye olde M1895 Nagant revolver. Also? We need ammo type overlap so we can have .45 LC, .410 shotshells, .357 Magnum…

Dragon, why don’t you eat him for opening a thread that is basically similar to this one?

Also; M1934 Beretta.

Renaming the AK-47 to the AKM would be good, since the first AK-47 was basically just a prototype.
Why stop at the M1934? It’d be cool to see the M1951, as well.

Ah right, I forgot about that. =w=

ak and akm are not different guns?

Derp. The AKM was the update to the AK-47, and said AKM was in use for much longer than the original AK.

Still, I’m gonna eat you for not posting this in the weapon suggestion thread. :V

What did I say?

Mergified the newer thread into this one.

Still gonna eat Dampe. o3o

Anyway, hmm. Maybe any delicious HMGs that might be worth adding…

What about mounting a pulse-laser on A.P.C.s? Something with good pentration and accuracy, but abysmal rate of fire…

AK-47 is not a prototype. AK-47 and AKM are different weapons in one line of.

Just wondering, would it be realistic to make a blackpowder gun that uses an electrical arc to set off the charge? With smokeless gunpowder uncraftable and blackpowder unsuitable for reloading, an electric-powered gun seems like a huge improvement over a flintlock/matchlock, it’d cut down on reloading time and presumably fire harder since there’s no pan for energy to leak out of.

Is there a reason I haven’t thought of to make this a bad idea?

Not sure, but personally I’d think making a percussion cap gun would be far more logical, realistic, and useful. Though I wonder if you can repurpose primers of exactly the right size for that…

mhm…well…how about something both exotic and extremely wasteful
Triple Action Thunder aka he .50 bmg handgun… (bad video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMkiDguYtGw)

(and yea i already know of the flaws of firing a bmg out of a pistol barrel)
How gloriously insane. I think the fictional weapons mod added a .50 BMG handgun though. >.>

gos to check on that

here had looked to see if the minigun was in the game before posting that as here has never found one…

I think I’ve found the minigun…once, in a bunker storage. And that’s it.

Anyway…

"name": "FiveO handcannon", "name_plural": "FiveO handcannons", "description": "Someone crazy thought that the .50 BMG belonged in a pistol. This massive piece of steel proves otherwise. The sheer bulk however does make it quite adept at smashing face.",

I actually found an M134 in a gun basement once.

.50 BMG?

Too mainstream.

.600 NE is superior.
