There was a reason i wondered why there wasn’t damage form recoil…

(and the only reason i would like a .50bmg pistol is due to them been possible the most common ammo with ~somebodys~ tankmod)

I think “recoil smacks you in the face” is something I’ve suggested in the bad ideas thread before, if I recall.

And…I was pondering whether to give a certain IFV a 20mm autocannon or a 30mm one. If I recall, the vehicle I initially had in mind to base it off of has a 20mm. But then I yet again encountered difficulty finding a good image of the layout for said vehicle, plus realized I kinda wanted the autocannon to rarely spawn at helicopter crash sites, so 30mm became less insane to implement once I yet again wound up using the imitation Merkava design. x.x

Hnng. There’s a reason I’d scrapped the 105mm tank cannon though, namely too many rare explosives on vehicles make each less likely to stay usable beyond a few shots. >.<

Something like the Anzio 20mm at least wouldn’t have that problem because it’s just a big rifle not something that fires explosive projectiles.

Obviously I accidentally left the code on a school computer that ended up getting wiped before I could get the code backed up because some moron got malware on it and our IT department just reformat’s the drive instead of actually removing anything.

But to call it rare would be an understatement. Only got to prototype stage.

What we really need is more ammo types. Exotic stuff like the 7.92x57, 6.5x55, and 9.3x62mm.
I might just make those ammo types to shove into my mod. More stuff from the good old 30’s and 40’s would be great.

Also more lasers… Defiantly more lasers.

What we really need is the M56 Smartgun.

Crafted using uber high mechanics and electronics skill. Ideally it would actually count as you having a higher than usual rifle skill when used. Or just have essentially perfect accuracy and no recoil etc.

I would love to see more future guns, especially a rush of new weaponry trying to capitalise on the high tensions that lead to the cata, stuff that is high technology, but maybe a bit gimmicky and not necessarily tested as much as it should have been.

We have that. It’s called Rivtech, and their glorious caseless ammo that they shoehorn into several different types of guns that, by definition, wouldn’t use the same ammo if designed by a sane company. o3o
