Valid tool for repair staffs and bows\arbalets

What tools can repair staffs, bows and crossbows, and other weapons which are not firearms, but the long-range, and that fire, but not metal?

I tried to repair the weapons with the help of “Kit gunsmith”, but if earlier it was possible, but now it is not possible.
with a gunshot metal weapon is simple - there is a “repair kit firearms.”

for example, on the lunar military base, I found “burnt staff hellfire”, which use “the essence of blood” as ammo.
say, by means of a tool I can to repair this, and the above (ranged) weapons?

and whether there is some tool to could make a “burnt staff” just “staff”, not “burnt”?

For most wooden items, you need a Basic Repair Kit, loaded with Duct Tape.

basic repair kit can be crafted with the following recipes
Skill used: fabrication
Required skills: N/A
Difficulty: 1
Time to complete: 2 minutes
Components required:

1x long string OR 6x small string
1x metalworking chisel
1x hammer
2x rag OR 2x leather patch OR 2x fur pelt

They’re not uncommon to find in houses and a variety of stores.

As for burnt stuff, I’m pretty sure it’s irreversible, other than dissassembling/reassembling the item, which I doubt you can do with a staff. That said, the “burnt” status doesn’t actually affect the item in any way other than how much longer it can last if you set it on fire again.

Or the toolbox, which accomplishes the same thing with half as much duct tape.

Toolbox doesn’t use duct tape anymore?

The basic tool kit was removed from the toolbox in the experimentals.

Whoa, that must have been done quite recently. Why?

PR #16237 Turn toolbox into a truly versatile tool

The current system doesn’t support different costs for different functions.
So the choice was to either have toolbox not have any of its free functions, consume duct tape to use the free functions or to not have the duct tape repair function.

Ah, ok then. Losing one thing to gain others makes sense.
