Check your mutations. If you have screamer or something like that then the answer is yes.
Every so often you scream and that being a loud sound will draw attention to you.
If you have a mutation you wish to get rid off I recommend finding purifier. Look for dead scientist and they should have some… or key cards to let you into a lab where you can likely find some.
