Too easy to revert save with launcher

Well, I’ll keep my hands off the launcher code (at least for now), but I might know a way to get your save back, if you are lucky (= got the right system/settings)…

If you’re running Windows 7+, your system might have backed it up for you.
Try [navigate to it and] right-clicking your games save folder and select “Restore previous versions”. Click one of the entries (if there are any) from before the [downgrade], click “copy…” and save it somewhere useful (you probably don’t want to replace your current folder [in case you already created a new character/world]).
