yuggs are pretty funny
What do y’all do with the 7.5kw generators, put them on your car/hybrid, or do you use them for backup power at your base, etc. ?
Overall I’ve never really found them too useful. Most people use them in cars, but for the most part solar panels are fine and I’ve never been in a situation (well, aside that brief change to engines that made everything equally useless) where I needed a backup charger.
I usually put them on my backup engine on my main vehicle, just in case. If I happen to find one early game (before I have solar as primary power source), I’ll put it on my main engine ASAP if I’m needing power.

I’d think you’d need at least a 1.21gw generator for that…
Cool thanks, yeah I have tons of upgraded solar panels already, the cable charger cbm is very useful, I think i’’ just strap it on my v12 diesel just in case, though I probably won’t need it. It does reduce the power of the engine somewhat, right?
How many people use caliber conversion kits and what are the set ups for guns that use them?
I haven’t used one yet, but I usually just have so many guns by the time I find them I don’t really need to convert anything. I tend to use silent weapons mostly anyway. I could see how it could be useful though, say if you had a conversion kit and tons of ammo for that caliber, so you decide to switch.
So I just accidentally (s)mashed my piles of clothes and armor, and heard a glass shattering sound, wtf did I break, there are no glass shards but I think the stack was full and the shards might have just gone to the next pile over where they live anyway(overflow). Did I break something, maybe a flask? I’ve heard it when trying to pulp zombies before, but had already smashed/butchered them and not realized it, but never notice what is breaking.
Could be:
Glass bottle, flask, etc, indicated by spilled liquid.
Or solar cell, pocket watch, fish bowl, hand mirror, lens, etc. Solar cell is most probable. One usually acquires some from dismantling damaged electric car.
Smashing will destroy any glass items, and usually leave behind a least a few shards. Which is why smashing cargo boxes is undesirable.
Well, its party time in the surroundings of the tear in reality, what should i do?
Its like a reality show.
Yeah I only had armor and clothing in the pile, MAYBE an empty hip flask, but I think they are categorized as other, so I usually throw them in the other pile. Solar cells are in vehicle pile,2 piles away, I believe and I’ve been making upgraded solar panels with those every time I have extra, so not many left I don’t think. Also no shards there because I had 999L or as close to 1000L of clothes in the pile, or liquid because it was clothing pile. I said clothing pile too many times lol.
It would be nice if it said, you smashed the flask to the east or whatever, instead of just telling you you heard glass shattering. Could i have just damaged a flask and not destroyed it?
Could it have been goggles or glasses that you smashed?
Is it possible to diamond coat tool artifacts? I’m wondering if a sword artifact could be diamond coated for extra strength.
I think as long as it has piercing damage ans = yes.
I’ll have to test it out, but I guess I gotta explore for a lab and get lucky to either get a sword or dagger artifact to confirm if it could happen.
It would require it to 1 be made out of steel and 2 have about 6 cutting damage.
Yup, It’s confirmed. I applied a diamond coating to my ‘Sword of Repellent Death’. Gave it approx. 14 extra cutting damage, which is nice considering that this is a decently large sword, estimated by the volume and moves per hit it’s on par with a longsword.
