Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!

is there any simple way to dispose of large quantity of non-burnable items? something like dwarven atomic smasher?
after burning everything burnable and repairing everything repairable (damn you, acid rain), i still have about 25 full tiles of rebar (btw, any use for it in building?) and about 10 tiles of various items, and i don’t know how to get rid of it, don’t want to simply piling it

Acid Bombs should destroy most stuff. I’ll be adding uses for rebar later I guess.

acid bomb, huh? never found one… but i guess inviting one particular spitting Z to my place will do? oh, this will be painful

They’re craftable with some electronics I think.

a glass vial and 500~ batteries.

In my side character who i basically try by any means necessary (including save cheating) make the ultimate ninja i managed to get herbivore and ruminant (bush nomming) then de-evolved herbivore so in theory no longer restricted to only veggies. Turns out though that its not the case and eating meat still cause me to throw up.

Is this a feature or a bug with it not removing herbivore correctly or maybe ruminant having the same effect just hidden? Just curious.

Maybe you’ve got weak stomach/nausea + food poisoning?

On the note with the batteries. Is there any way to recharge them?
If there isnt, couldnt one just rig a solar panel with some kind of converter attached to it to recharge batteries? You’d still need rechargeable batteries, of course.
I find it kind of tedious to unload every single flashlight I find to grab batteries.

one more noob question - how do you construct floor/roof? i mean, i can construct floor, but only on my walls (wood wall/log wall), which is no good, i need my walls
i missing something? can you construct floor/roof on dirt/grass? i remember there was some problem with this long ago, but don’t remember details

I have save cheated to make sure i dont have any undesirable traits like weak stomach and im not aware of any food poisoning. (would not surprise me though after all that sewage and acts of cannibalism i have forced down her throat)… She should be curled up in a corner and crying by now… Anyway thats not the reason.

Also i forgot to mention that most batteries in reality are not rechargeable anyways so id say its pretty accurate.

The ultimate noob question. How do you make a fire? i have a cheap lighter and trying to use it on a bush dosn’t work.

You need something wooden like a heavy stick or a 2*4

I have gotten the spider weaving perk and its making my life miserable! How do i control this beast (house cleaning) and how come there is no button to toggle it? >.<

For batteries, you can actually recharge many of them in real life. they just like exploding or holding almost no charge then.

The only way to get rid of it is with purifier. Dead scientists and Labs tend to have it. There’s no actual way to selectively do away with it though.

Take solace that the perk will slow anything down.

The bush will burn if you light some kindling under it first. Use scraps of paper or pieces of wood or something.

And then burn down the entire forest and anything nearby.

Yep

Why is your tag telling me to fuck off ;.;

Because you are near my old banana.
