Basic survival tips:
1. Navigating:
Its very unlikely that a survivor will be in a safe, selfsufficient place to start with. Traveling around is dangerous. The weather, time, wildlife, unknown monsters, undead are all working against us. Tracking of time is important. Daytime is ideal for scouting out nearby areas. As we walk around, we should mark all kinds of hazardous, benefical, strange things. This can help to establish a safe route. For long hikes, a survivor should prepare supplies to take with him/her. Night time is used for raids. For raids a flashlight or anytype of light source is important. The main objective is gather supplies for further survival.
1. Gathering:
If you use caution while exploring the area , this is the easiest way to get usefull items for survival. Always think out your route before you head out, in this way you can systematicly check every point of interest. Since a survivor has limited capacity prioritize what you are looking for. You need tools to craft or construct something? Are the supplies running low? Is there enough weapons to defend myself? just some of the concern. Food should always be gathered, especially to perishable ones. Water or any type of liquid should also be number one on the wanted list. Clothing is important until you get yourself a warm set of clothes. Guns, melee weapons is optional to gather. Depending on the situtation.
2. Combat:
Sooner or later we will encounter hostile entities. For that case its mandatory to carry any kind of weapon. Melee weapons has the advantage of not requiring ammo, but close combat is always extremly dangerous at the begining. With strategic movement we can take on multiple enemies, but as their number grows, we should retreat.
