I just found an atomic sports car with a pretty damaged but still functional minireactor. I see they use plutonium cells for fuel, but just how quickly do they consume them?

I have a couple of atomic night lights I could theoretically disassemble to get plutonium cells.

I wouldn’t touch your atomic lamps now when new fuel rebalancing is in place. Might turn you are out of cells next city block cause your reactor are it all.

Should be the exact same as it was before.

Still, it’s not terribly efficient, it’s more of a quick burst thing, or a “IMA FIRIN MAH LAZERS” moment with a bunch of turrets, or swapping guns over an UPS charger.

On the upside, the microreactor CBM is fixed now.

No, they definitely have enhanced - that’s the usual place I find them. They are only really rare, instead of REALLY REALLY rare like atomic minitanks or SHOCKINGLY, FREAKISHLY rare like atomic cars.

Hello guys,

I’m seeing the dawn of day 4 xD

I have a problem, it seems the action stopped for my character and his small world. He’s meleing zombies and can’t move or hit anymore. Stamina is 2 bars. Actions like opening inventory and commit suicide are still open, but neither direction keys or Num Pad seems to work.

Is it a known bug ? Am I missing something ?

Last I knew, farming doesn’t check for anything but dirt mound and temperature at time of planting - so, yeah, underground farming should be fine (one of the many was farming is mega-broken right now).

Hey guys, some very newbish questions for you!

a) how to make a cloth ‘fits’, I don’t see it as an option with a tailor kit

b) what CBM stands for?

c) how one resplenish a car battery, when I access refill in the vehicle, I can only move onto the gas tank line

d) Even tailoring 4 seems a meager skill level, I don’t get it… I would have thought that at this point repairing a duster would be trivial…

e) when a NPC says ’ could assist you with a batch’, how you do that? More importantly, can a NPC speed up crafting time?

f) is there a way (sort armor screen?) to see protection given by each part?

g) why can’t my leather belt be used to store my sunglasses?

a) keep repairing after it’s full.

c)

with running, non-electric engines that have alternators on the same tile.
with a reactor
with a second vehicle that has a running engine and is being connected through jumper cables.
with solar panels
Note that “running” engine can be of gasoline/diesel, but it can also be of muscle power.

d) repairing is kinda slow to raise tailoring, crafting is better sometimes.

When you select a menu on the crafting menu, hit [b] instead of [enter] and you will be given an option to make more than 1 item. If you do make more than 1 item, the NPC will automatically help you make it faster. Exact speedup depends on the item and how many you make, but it can be substantial.

That would be installing footpedals, then installing an alternator on them, then sitting in the seat there and “turning on” the vehicle (even if it has no wheels) and running it for a while - the alternator will produce charge, which can charge up any installed battery (or any battery installed on another vehicle that you attach by jumper cable).

CBM stands for Compact Bionic Module. They’re cybernetics, think of robocop or Adam Jensen from Deus Ex. They’re robotic replacements or enhancements that can allow you to do a whole myriad of things.

is there any way to prevent moronic npcs from entering my base of doom?it seems they manage to get inside due to traps in a different z level not affecting them or such.
there is no way these raw cooked creep bags can get in.
yet they do and demand moronic shit.
i was on cloth repair and crafting duty,just wearing my Kevlar reinforced jumpsuit,Kevlar reinforced combat boots,Kevlar reinforced tactical gloves and my old leather reinforced union suit,then snow meow or whatever aims toward me with a .22 pipe rifle.
after noticing it picked up my ppk and one brass knuckles i raged,drawing my pepperbox and blasting his face off,then proceeding to beat it to death with krav maga and kill it.
