I eventually forcefully equipped a backpack and a greatcoat on my buddy NPC, through debug commands. Found said items in a clothing store, so not really cheating.

Shortly afterwards, she wouldn’t let go of a shock brute and died. Goddamn it.

Where does one find "enhanced electric motor"s? I’ve never seen one in all my time playing, and it appears they can’t be crafted.

Well, there’s always iodized salt, which is very common IRL. Lots of foods are high in iodine as well, the organic part probably doesn’t make a real difference

IRL almost all salt is iodized. With the only notable exceptions I can think of off the top of my head being purposely purchased labeled non-iodized (cooking) salt (to prevent unappetizing looking white glaze ‘caking’ from forming when cooking) and sea salt…has less unless labeled otherwise? Basically any standard salt you pick up is iodized, except for fast food, and specifically purchased non iodized salt.

These are only in amounts to prevent thyroid difficulties with standard intake however, I don’t think they are in amounts that would make for practical distilling for iodine tablets and the like.

Apparently it only costs $1.15 to treat a ton of salt, couldn’t seem to get any figures on a percentage though, which would be far more useful.

They are REALLY rare. Electric sports cars and atomic mini-tanks are the only things I can think of off-hand… maybe the atomic car? Of course, I’ve seen like 3 of those EVER, so those are so rare as to be just silly.

But really, they aren’t any more efficient than the large electric engine, so unless you just plain need the power and can’t manage to install any more engines, I wouldn’t bother.

I do use them when I find them, but more as a trophy kind of thing than anything else.

N… never? How long have you played? I feel like I see a dozen of them in a single game. Look at the engines of sports cars (mouseover). Sometimes there’s a V12, sometimes it’s EEM (in which case the car is an Electric Sports Car, and they actually have two EEMs). Atomic Minitanks also have them but that requires the Tanks mod enabled.

From my experience electric sports cars have Large Electric motors, not Enhanced Electric motors. Though with some debug fiddling it looks like the “Atomic Sports Car” spawns with them.

Any hint or pointer (or web page) where I can get a description of the NPC record in the saved file and clean up buggy behavior (or impossible to do mission)? The wiki page is not informative enough. Or perhaps a utility?

I have a friendly NPC that has 2 tags in her status that I should not see (from the description of the tags!). She is also suffering from the long time reported bug (since early september) of not being able to trade with you, always speaking of a fixed amount of $ you owe her.
