Makefile:660: recipe for target ‘src/lua/catabindings.cpp’ failed

Ive tried reinstalling it, and Im going to try clang now. But I was hoping somebody could tell me with a flick of a hand what this was.

If you log on the IRC I’d be willing to help, and if not me, there’s a bunch of other people that could. You could also try the tech support forum, but IRC may be faster.
I have added the mod adding filthy clothes. How do I wash them? I might try immersing them into a river, but aside that? Dropping over a pool of water?
Thanks for the Grab trick.

You need to craft a washboard, load it with soap, and have 40 units of water (maybe clean water?) nearby to use it.
It’s extremely impractical and there’s a reason that people don’t like that mod.
I suggest you to open up a new world altogether.
Also, deleting the entry of the “filthy clothes mod” fom the mods.json of your save file (game directory/saves/worldname/mods.json) technically might disable the mod and cease their spawning, but doing that may cause your save to be unstable or unusable. Then again I do not have experiences about doing so with the filthy clothes mod, but doing so with other mods have destroyed one of my saves, so do it at your own risk.

Sounds like problem with lua, not compiler. Which lua version do you have?
What reks more with a Monomolecular Blade? Eskrima or Biojutsu?
Bio gets you two rapid (but less damaging) strikes, an aoe strike, a couple meh techniques and a counter.
Eskrima gets you all the style’s fast strikes that don’t debuff your damage, a 1.1x bonus once you get started, and combination which does 1.5x but isn’t any faster, but you don’t get puño or the 1.2x bash bonus.
I would say that Eskrima gives you the most buff, but it doesn’t help your defense except by murderfacestabbing things faster.
But it’s an unarmed weapon, soo anything with “unarmed allowed” (read: everything that isn’t a weapon-style) will work with it. Anything that works by enhancing your attack speed or giving a flat bonus to your bash would do nicely, so it’s a question if you have the stats to make, say, Tiger’s str-based damage bonus to bash beat Eskrima’s buff, or whatever style fits your stats and encumbrance best.
A notable mention is Krav, which gets you bash damage, 1.2x stabbity and a bunch of meh techniques, it isn’t a bad choice, really, but Eskrima gives better offense.
Still, a style buffing your bash damage is a nice solution for when cutting damage ain’t cutting it.
%cross-post from The Bunker - Gameplay, Tactics, and General Discussion » to repair friendly security robots - can i?
for repairing or over-repair (in hardening purpose) turret - i may off it and get in my inventory and use welder. but with security bots its tactics not good because not work at all. when i go onto this robot - it simply swaps with me their place.
i can not off him for repair. or i do not know some important?
maybe hacking notebook can in future have subroutine to off hacked robots?
Pentjak Silat: +1 dodge (unarmed or armed with whatever), 40% of your dex to your to-hit after dodging (again, unarmed or armed with whatever) that lasts 3 and can stack up to 4 times, and 4 techniques that only work with the style’s weapons: Dirty Hit(1), hamstring(2), Silat Brutality(3) and Vicious Precision(4).
Dirty Hit: stun 2 crit tech.
Hamstring: crit tech, down for 3 rounds.
Silat Brutality: crit tech, stun 1, knockback 1
Vicious Precision: crit tech, +50% damage.
But this is also on a lightly armoured fluffy tailed mutant so its more to maximize the use of ridiculous dodge skill my character has.
But this is also on a lightly armoured fluffy tailed mutant so its more to maximize the use of ridiculous dodge skill my character has.
Hmm, since it’s an “unarmed weapon”, you might be better served with a fighting style that does more than granting +1 extra dodge. Granted, that probably means having some unarmed to unlock things, but you won’t need much.
Which one is best for defensive purposes would probably depend on your stats. Zu comes to mind, what with infinite dodges after attacking and your dodge being buffed by INT. The counterattack is kinda wasted since the monoblade doesn’t do bash tho.
How to unpoison oneself (please tell me the name of the item I’m looking for)?
Can monsters follow you to another Z level (i.e spiders in cellar going into house) ?
Why my flashlight is not listed in the % commands?
How do I sort alphabetically in the crafting list ?
Up to which distance the game “simulates for real” actions from NPC and monsters? i.e if I leave on guard a NPC friend in an house, will he defend and fight for himself even if I go very far from him? Or past a distance the world simulation is frozen until I approach a bit of his position?
Why running don’t make more noise than walking?
Why drying with a towel takes 0 second (can do it in face of a monster, picture that!
Why an item don’t always list what it can lead if disassembled? i.e knit hat can be disassembled to bandages, but this is not indicated in the item description
Melee? I don’t think so. Not 100% sure. If there are penalties, then I’m not noticing any difference. Ranged combat probably doesn’t have any either.
The word you’re looking for is ‘cure’. There isn’t a straight-up pill-type cure but Blood Filter CBM can cleanse your blood of toxins. There’s also the trait Poison Resistance. You’ll just have to wait out the poison and keep yourself healed.
Yes, but only if they are close to stairs when you go up/down. I’m not sure if one had z-levels enabled. Would the monsters be then able to track the player properly and more persistently?
Good question. You can however bind a hotkey for a flashlight, such as ‘f’. Then it’s just keys i → f → a to enter inventory and (de)activate the flashlight. You could also wield the flashlight and shift+a to turn it on/off.
You don’t. Sorry. They are, however, listed in order of crafting difficulty. More or less.
Look up the word “reality bubble”. I don’t remember its radius. But there is a set radius around your character which the game simulates/calculates. Everything outside the bubble is in stasis. Read up more on wiki.
Good question. It should be changed. It did bug me as well for a long time but then I forgot about it. Also noise reports are bit tricky. For example, a car engine makes (or at some point used to make) “less” noise the faster you drive, but only because the noise source (engine) lags “farther” behind. The perceived noise level is also affected by your character’s hearing ability. But anyway, could it be that running actually makes bit more noise but the change in movement speed makes it appear less, resulting in identical noise level? What the game really might need is a sneak mode. In the ‘bad suggestions’ thread you might find my comment about different shoes causing different noises and noise levels :P. It might actually be funny, but it might be annoying.
Oh, that’s just how it’s always been. I guess it could/should take 10-60 seconds.
Huh. Sounds like a bug (the bandages). Either that or someone forgot to write the disassembly products. Any other such items that you can think of?
As the saying goes, you only have one chance to make a first impression. Same here, as a new player, my new eyes might see things that don’t bother you or you forgot, so I appreciate not being cast away with my remarks.
I’m ok with same noise level for running and walking actually, you are right, some would then ask for different noises levels depending of the type of shoes.
For now, my biggest surprise is probably the absence of a sneak mode, i.e zombies see 360° around them and this close a whole part of possible gameplay (sneak behind, eliminate silently). Now, this is almost an entirely different game created by this kind of feature, so …
I would also very much like to have a melee penalty when fighting in the dark. Because otherwise why have a flashlight when fighting, you’ll only end up attracting more zeds.
Not that I know of. you cannot grow coffee, tea or rice AFAIK (how do you imagine that after all?). And there is no cattle to milk. So you can use condensed milk or fresh milk.
