RV Kitchen unit: Hotplate, cooking utensils, water faucet (accesses your vehicle’s clean water tank), storage.
Foodco: Water purifier, Vacuum sealer, food dehydrator, storage and an integrated hand press and die kit for assembling ammunition, for some reason.
So, both can purify water and have decent storage, but the RV kitchen unit is for general food preperation, whereas the Foodco is more for longterm food preservation (and ammo reloading).
The kitchen unit can be replaced in your deathmobile by a faucet someplace else and a battery powered hotplate (add a UPS mod if you want it to be rechargeable). I don’t like enormous deathmobiles, so I usually don’t bother putting one in. The Foodco is invaluable in a deathmobile for quickly preserving stuff when kill and butcher a wolfpack or something like that.
I like the kitchen unit in my permanent base - I do most of my cooking at home and it’s no fuss. The foodco is also useful there, especially for ammo reloading, but the kitchen unit is better at home.

Next question: how do I destroy reinforced glass walls? Jackhammer is not usable on it.[/quote]
Bombs.
Bombs, or a Hydraulic Muscles CBM and a very hefty melee weapon. Both are sketchy at best. I’ve used three sticks of dynamite on a reinforced window to zero effect before, whereas the fourth one succeeded. I’ve complained about this in the past. Either jackhammers should be made usable on glass, or the labs should be altered to remove the all-glass vaults, because bullshit technical limitations should not be the main thing keeping you out of them.

So this is NOT a bug but a feature? I see. Bombs it is, then.
Is it possible to have a stack of two-by-fours in an oven/fireplace/stove/brazier and ignite them for a continual fire for a long time or will all of them be consumed in the same period of time that it takes to consume a single two-by-four?
Also, in the StatsThroughSkillsMod, how high can your stats go? Is there a hard/soft cap? Is reaching 14 in a stat possible? What attributes do speaking and bartering contribute to?

I always use sledge hammers to take down glass walls. They are guaranteed to take down a wall with 8 strength, but it might take some time. I can’t attest to lower strength values.

I don’t think stacking stuff inside fireplaces work. To check it you can just place a bunch of rags outside and ignite them. They will burn at about the same pace.
STS skillcap depends on the version, I believe. Some have caps on how high you stats can go, some don’t. I don’t use it so I can’t tell you which versions are capped or not.
Althrough the uncapped one is insane, there was a guy who had his stats in late 20s…

The current version distributed with the newer experimental versions seems to approach a cap of 12. My character went from Fabrication 4 to 10 in a glorious binge session, and did not move from 11 strength. I imagine if I 10’s all the strength related stats, I’d hit 12, or maybe 14. I remember in the earlier versions, each skill had a stat like now, but you’d just gain a stat point for every three levels in each skill. Those guys could get to 16 stats within the first week or two, could probably hit 20’s pretty easily. Then stack bionics atop it, and yea, you had some insane characters.
