Thanks! I must missed it between the lot of fight messages. My legs are half healed already so i will be okay.
How do I safely remove or destroy mines? I’m surrounded by minefields. Ow.
Edit: I have a towel (wet) (active). Do I need to do anything to make it not wet or will that happen on its own?
try throwing rocks at mines from distance it should still work
how much is face protection improtant against gun wielding npcs-will good helmet protect from headshots or is thing like heavy survivor mask for face needed to avoid shot in face…as far as i undeerstand face, feet, and hands are target onlz by zombie special attack so i dont know if npc actions count.
youre confusing ‘special attack’ and ‘zombie special attack’
what is a ‘zombie special attack’?
targeted attacks can hit the mouth, hands, and feet. untargeted default melee Attacks cannot.
so yea. getting headshotted by an npc can happen.
and yes, a monster with a gun can shoot your eyes out.
When was the minimap removed?
I updated earlier today and I still have it, hit Shift + N and see if that switches it back on.
(still haven’t figured out that towel thing.)
It’ll dry out on it’s own. Only takes a couple hours ingame.
I keep 4 of them around for springtime, and up to 2 on my person for raiding when I expect to need the morale.
Slow Learner means I need the morale for combat XPs. They nerfed melee/marksman xp gain by 50% recently. Couple that with 50% less for slow learner. Then factor in all the rain. Then factor in all the cold. Then the filthy clothing. Then the alcoholism. Then factor in the crappy diet. Then the bad temper.
Im getting like 20% the combat XP you are :o
Has there been a rebalance to ranged combat? I find that I’m actually able to properly snipe things now. My ferromagnetic rail rifle is nailing things halfway across the screen for around 85 damage per shot and those aren’t even headshots.
Yeah, the ranged combat accuracy formula got rebalanced a couple weeks back. It’s hardcapped at 30 tiles due to the reality bubble right now, but you can actually snipe things with a bog standard rifle and a middling marksman skill now. Anything past that and you start being able to kick serious ass.
No, it’s capped at 30 due to math problems, and hardcapped at 65 due to reality bubble.
Is it possible to find the book for Zui Quan in game? I’ve seen people mention that it can only be selected at character creation, but a glance at the debug menu shows that a book for it exists.
Is trapping any good? Given how rare animals are I’d think it’s rather useless if I live in a city right?
It actually works out pretty useful anyway. It affects chance to spot and disarm traps without setting them off.
Are hickory roots renwable? (presuming I grab them from hickory trees.) If not the salt recipes seem pretty reliant on scrounged items in the sense that you’ll not be finding much of it. Not sure how to make treating pelts worth it. Just seems like such a waste.
Hickory Roots are a last ditch emergency source of salt. You can get huge quantities of it by refining sea or swamp water.
