Yes, in the sort armor menu press ‘?’ for more options/hotkeys.

He needs to trust you though.

How long is the nausea from radiation supposed to last after the -1 strength fades? Supposing you got to the point of -1 to all stats and -8 speed, also having Weak Stomach.

I am running a weak stomach character as well and the nausea from infection lasted a while, 2 days maybe.

Thanks.
I don’t think the XL holster is actually any bigger then the regular version. It’s XL because it can accommodate mutated anatomy. If none of the current holsters work for your monstrous handcannon then you’ll just have to carry it around or implement a bigger holster yourself. Having the ability to put shoulder straps on pistols would probably help to.

That’s the 5x50mm flechette, which is a standard brass and gunpowder round. I’m talking about the 8x40mm caseless.
The Handloader’s Helper book has a recipe for homemade 8x40mm and the JSP variant. So does the Rivtech Design Binder, but I’ve the feeling those are pretty rare.

In my game that doesn t hold true. perhaps i accidently deactivated rivtech stuff… Then again i have the guns and such so why wouldn t i have the ammo…

How old is your game version? Because it shows up for both the dev and stable branches in the item browser, and I can personally confirm its existence/function to at least build 5300. The only way I could see it being gone is if your running some blacklist mod, of which I’m only aware of the “No Rivtech Guns” Blacklist mod that’ll strip the game of the guns and ammo.

I can t remember which version i started the game on but i regulary update it . Like every 2 days.

All of the 8x40mm recipes were moved to the Craftable Gunpowder mod several months ago. There’s no way to craft 8x40mm ammo in vanilla. It’s a shame, considering the rarity of the stuff was drastically (accidentally?) increased when gun spawns were reworked.

Huh. I was under the impression that mod content didn’t show in the item browser. Well, there’s my learning for the day then.

Mod content doesn’t show in the browser, but the browser is several months out of date. 8x40mm crafting was moved to mods in June or July and the browser hasn’t been updated since before that.

The item browser used to update automatically (or so I recall being told) - has that been stopped?

Yup. It appears to have been broken since April 14, front page says it’s pulling from version 0.C-12973-g5234160. Probably related to "updated nightly" · Issue #18 · Sheco/cdda-itembrowser · GitHub.

There’s something oddly rapey about all of this.

Gotta say though that I’m almost 100% sure that I had a Rivtech sniper rifle spawn inside a lab’s armoury with the “Fictional Guns Disabled” mod. I checked the item list through the 'Wish" menu and I found pretty much all Rivtech weapons (and they also showed up on the vehicle construction interface) but I couldn’t cheat in ammo for them.

Am I just being stupid? How do you see what effects an artefact is having on you?

I found an electric sphere, which seems fairly harmless… but doesn’t seem to be doing anything obvious.

Do they all have passive effects? Can they be viewed somehow?

Oh wait I found something on the wiki. I guess they only have 2 effects if found in an anomaly. Might both be active…

And it seems it has the “KABOOM” storm effect but decays my body when used. Kinda crappy. The storm only sent out one puny electric attack in one direction. Not what I was expecting.

Some artifacts are god-tier. I swear I read that someone got a artifact from a mine start, it was a sword that gave invisibility as a passive effect and only reduced strength by 2 and induced bad weather.

All the really bad stuff has some kind of message. If there’s no message, it’s something like extra thirst, extra hunger, or smoke - minor (lucky you).

Radiation prickles, insanity has some message, otherworldly attention gives a message, random teleport says something about a feeling of pulling inward or something, mutagenic says something about your genetics decaying or something. It’s the bad active ones that are problematic, since you have to use them to find out (mutate! - ouch).

Well, it SEEMS to be pretty much harmless.

Also crap though. I went into a bat cave, stood in a crowd of bats and activated the storm ability and nothing died. If I’d fired off my symbol of judgement the cave would probably be empty.

They’re Barbie dolls underneath. Evidenced by them having no need for bodily waste excretion and breeding and no one commenting on nudity.
