Well thank goodness I’m not just going insane.
It has a built in supressor?! I never noticed that part. Is that visible in the weapon description? Also, I don’t suppose supressors stack if you can install another one?
Yep.
“Intended to function as a long-range sharpshooter support weapon for the military, the Rivtech RM11B scout rifle was designed for durability and accuracy under less than ideal circumstances. Its bullpup layout, integrated suppressor and digital scope, and two round burst mode allows it to deliver precise long-range takedowns, utilizing the proprietary Rivtech 8mm caseless round. Accepts stick magazines.”
I honestly didn’t notice it until about a month ago when I tried to put a supressor on it. It lacks both a sight and muzzle mod slot because of that. But it does have all the other standard rifle mod slots. I think you guys might be confusing Rivtech guns with Leadworks ones, which do come already tricked out but don’t accept third-party modifications.

It’s missing a loudness field in its JSON, so it isn’t silenced in any way. If you look up the file history you can see Rivet had second thoughts about keeping the suppressor.
Is the “Follow Sarcophagus Team” mission for the “Patriot” questline (The “Fuck ya, America!” NPCs give you these patriotic quests) even possible to complete? Haven’t been able to start on on the PC Version yet, but I have been able to start it on the IOS version. I can’t find anything related to completing it, even on the bottom floor (Only a bunch of zombies, metal fragments, and mutagen), and exploding the entire sarcophagus via the computer doesn’t complete it. The bottom level computer doesn’t seem to have any meaningful options, either.

Is there a way to see the volume limit for a holster? Even the XL holster won’t fit.
No, nothing completes it.
The volume limit of holsters/sheaths/scabbards/etc is only viewable in the JSON.
I haven’t updated in a few months, so these answers might be outdated.
I don't think the XL holster is actually any bigger then the regular version. It's XL because it can accommodate mutated anatomy. If none of the current holsters work for your monstrous handcannon then you'll just have to carry it around or implement a bigger holster yourself. Having the ability to put shoulder straps on pistols would probably help to.
i rember it diffrently though i didnt used gun for a while
xl holster was designed for this purpose

Weird. That means it’s been modified recently and still wasn’t fixed to match the description?
In my game it has the built in sight but still has all the slots including the sights.
Okay, so it does have a larger capacity and checking it now shows it accomodates mutated anatomy aswell. Making it doubly useful.

Yeah, weird… I’ve got a relatively recent experimental from the past week or two. And it has accessories (0/4), grip (0/1), mechanism (0/4), rail (0/1), stock (0/1), and underbarrel (0/1) slots for me.
Oh and I have a question. What exactly are infrared goggles/infrared vision bionics meant to do?
infrared googles allow you to see warm blooded creatures (zombies are one of such) in dark.i used them only several times so i am not sure about wall thing but i would presume they should give ability to see apropriate enemies through walls.

Sound is a much easier (and always with you) way to do that, and it works for essentially everything.
Which tells me that our “sound” stuff in this game is WAY too loud.
In all fairness I dont think people really appreciate how much quieter the world will be once all of our cars and air conditioners are zombied, all the people are nomed, and all the animals are spread around like cheese on a terran cracker.
Go for a walk in the woods. Now imagine all the animals are dead. You would be able to hear a mouse fart. You would, but then the mouse would be eaten so it doesnt fart.

That’s the 5x50mm flechette, which is a standard brass and gunpowder round. I’m talking about the 8x40mm caseless.
I can t find any other.
The rivtech book doesn t have em either.
They used to be in the ammo book too. maybe my game is just broken.
Having recently gone through and learned how the whole mutation coding works(I’m in the process of creating an entirely new mutation category for this game!), there are some traits that have the “purifiable” : false line in them. This tags them as being unpurifiable. There’s 79 “unpurifiable” traits in the game, most of which are post threshhold.
So as a general rule, once you go post-threshhold, you can’t go back. No amount of purifier will take you back to normal.
Thanks! I was concerned about accidentally ‘uncrosssing’ a threshold.
Well research, err gameplay, has just shown me that the Alpha post threshold mutations Prime Strength and Very Little Sleep are indeed purifiable.
Edit - I am on a fairly old version though, so that may be making a difference.
