I have a question about guns. Obstacle/furniture etc gives us cover from enemy bullets?
I think running the latest experimentals it should be safe to add them. Removing them is going to be pain I think. But not sure, expect a lot of error messages that it cannot find items, monsters, recipes etc. And I think the map locations one really can be messy.
once a location is mapped out cannot change, so its safish to take them out. still bad if you havent been there though.
sorry for tge delay. yes, you can add them midgame , but you need a fresh map region to spawn new locations. or debug.
orm, pks reimagining mod, is its name. its in the game dl or on the forum. just grab the id in mod_info.json and pop it in.
the mod itself is an attempr to make the game harder and more combative. it rekajiggers spawn rates, adds in later game monsters for all major factions, makes base critters hit harder, and adds in monsters inspired by doom the franchise.
doom is designed to be endgame. i have carefully kneecapped their cheesier abilities but they can puncture power armor.
for instance, ive nerfed their armor and reduced their accuracy and given their projectiles a ‘chargeup’

How ‘safe’ are flamethrowers. I’ve got one… and I’m trying to burn trifflids.
I know aiming it is tricky, but mostly I’m worried about the fact that I’m wearing a container of gasoline. If something hits me in melee is there a chance of it exploding?
I don’t usually carry gasoline on characters.
Fire spreads quickly and is chaotic and hard to predict, but a flamethrower that isn’t used is totally safe.
just remember to do not use fire when standing on fungal bed, avoid using it inside buildings, avoid using it on gas stadions and aim at least 2 tiles away from character

Stand outside a megastore, light 3 patches of flamethrower, and watch
Which CBMs are craftable? I know of AeroEvaporator, Battery System and Power Storage. Any others?
alloy ones,ups rechagable,cranial flashlight,finger mounted laser…
Water Extractor, Solar Panels, Power Storage II, power armor interface, power armor interface II, UPS, Finger laser, flashlight, all 4 superalloy platings, microreactor (and all its upgrades, though some of them require other uncraftable CBMs to craft)…
that’s just from memory, so there are probably more.
Does anyone think making a recipe to attatch a bayonet to an L-Stick would be… inapproriate?
I want, and Id do every time.
Also possible is a spike instead of a bayonet, for unreaching stab damage. A blade seems like a bad idea, simply because the amount of force from combat is perpendicular to the attachment.

Yea, they tend to get overrun.
Now you either forget about the missions or go find another one in the next map region over. In the core game they spawn once per map region as a reuqirment.
Already found two refugee centers and perhaps I already found that town days ago too will be a loong drive thou… Still got to loot that vault… wish I knew about the vault sooner, way better than labs… everything you need inside… too much loot lol. Got like 1000 9mm bullets from creeps only there. ty

Yes, you can trade for empty bottles, and the npcs dont even charge you for empty bottles.
Just keep giving him junk food and dirty water.

Every time i’ve set fire to critters. Anything with grenades or the like tend to go off when they die in the fire. So I’m guessing it would.
One caveat. When driving, if you hit a gas tank anywhere on the outside of the vehicle or stand alone. It will go off if filled.
