What are the requisits on power storage and power storage mk II ? I have 6 electronics, 6 mechanics and 6 first aid. Wiki says only 5 first aid is required to craft it. I also have the book on hand.

Unless it’s changed recently, Power Storage MkII requires electronics 12. It’s a real pain to grind to.
Electronics 12 is why my character spent several days making upgraded solar panels then disassembling them. Oh, wait, my bad, that was Electronics 11, then I realized I still couldn’t make the MK II, sighed, and put off the rest of the grind until ‘later’.
Is there way to manipulate a companion NPC into taking a certain seat in a vehicle? For some reason my pal NPC is REALLY fixated to my driver’s seat. I’ve tried putting better blankets to the one other seat in my vehicle. And books. And valuable stuff. My driver’s seat contains has nothing of value. The seats are the same type. I just don’t get it WHY THAT SEAT!
Unless it’s changed recently, just push against them, swap spaces with them (one of the menu choices), and they’ll go find another one because you’re in that one.
Hah! I had three NPCs fighting over that driver’s seat, and they were constantly falling asleep. Only thing I managed was to just make sure I got to it first or be prepared to wrestle for it. The infighting for seats even got so bad one of them would end up hanging from the sides of the vehicle as I raced across the countryside flattening ants.
I don’t think Zones work on cars, but I don’t use them to know. If they do then that would solve the problem by making the driver’s seat a no go area.

Yeah, that’s just it - I’m tired of pushing them aside. Also if the NPC falls asleep, you can’t push them until you wake them up. Gets tedious eventually.
What if they’re attracted to vehicle controls? Maybe one should just try installing extra controls on all seats? Or maybe they like the seat that was installed last?
I used to experience this rarely some/moderate time ago. Restarting the game helped, IIRC. Or at the very least the problem solved itself later for whatever reason. Could be wheel condition related, too.
The seat taking code is pretty crude. It works by going through all parts in order they were installed in. Then they prioritize seatbelts.
If you want NPCs to take other seats, uninstall your main seat and reinstall it, then install seatbelts on all NPC seats. Or just remove seatbelt from your main seat, though this can be risky.

any water is ok from my experience beside sewer water i think you need around 40 water but not sure about it.i know i can do it with full jerrycan but i do it rarely so not sure for exact amount.
