Haven t seen that one yet…
Think there was one ages ago. But it wasn’t even a mod, it was a ‘edit these files like this’ iirc. Before the modding worked like it worked now. Could be misremembering.

Why is scent so powerful? Ive got a trail of zombies running back over 15 tiles from my position. As a naked noncombatant srvivor in the dark I cant even outrun zombies. Its all I can do to duck into a building and hope they arent so close they can follow.
it makes weak scent pretty darn good.
Back in 0.A I used them to boost my character’s stats to the 60’s
Literally became one punch man
I had a char that got lucky with a string of granades one game. Over 600 dex, 140 str, 180 per, 200 int. And he knew boxing. He could (and frequently did) one hit shoggoths. And he died with my last laptop. Goodbye Road Wurrier, you had a good run and wound up becoming the DOOM guy.
In both cases you’re literally just sewing Kevlar onto something to make it stronger/better, but one option is far, far stronger than the other. There’s already a system in place via the “Modify Clothing” option which offers you an acceptable trade-off - more encumbrance on the item in exchange for more defense. The problem with survivor gear is that you don’t get to make those decisions. You just get lighter and stronger items with 100% coverage that usually carry more and are waterproof for no real reason. It requires higher skills to craft which ostensibly balances it, but you should always feel rewarded for intelligent decision-making and personal experience with the game, and survivor gear pretty much eliminates that from gearing up. That’s why I personally don’t enjoy using it - you don’t get to make intelligent decisions other than “make all the survivor stuff I can”, which is boring.
Quick question: From what I read, is it possible now to create custom weapon bionics?
im not sure, but i think your best bet would be in science labs and the like. for augmentive tech review and techno books.
Yes.
Look at the definitions for claws and monoblade bionics.
Is there anyway to move items to NPC’s inventory and then take them back without paying? I want my NPC able to hold some of my items when I’m overburdened.
If they trust you enough to let you change their armor, you can simply have them take off everything that has storage, and they will drop everything that has volume, then you can put stuff back on for them, and give them back the stuff you want them to have. Kinda time consuming, but easy.
If they don’t trust you that much… uh, not that I know of, no.

Oh cool, looks like a new feature that I’m not aware of. If I recall correctly there were no that “take off” command when I played a couple of weeks ago, even when they already trust me enough because I finished their quests.
Thanks anyway.

[s]Want to ask another question.
So today I’m in a middle of city and there is soooo many noises from below which caused my gameplay to slow down. I tried to find the manhole, found it and go down to the sewer. I thought I will encounters a bunch of monster but I was wrong, the noise is not from the sewer but under the sewer!
So, is that means there’s a level 2 sewer or something? I’m really curious what’s that many things under there. :o [/s]
Nevermind. I used debug mode just want to know if there’s really something down there on a copied save game and yes there is! WOO! Gonna explore that place.
Once the two vehicles are hooked up, both can use any power available on either vehicle to perform tasks like starting engine, welding, running minifridge etc. If either of the vehicles are generating power, they will fill their own batteries first, then start sending power to the other vehicle. So if your dead humvee has a working alternator, just hook them together and start the humvee engine.
So, does anyone know where it’s possible to find light power armor helmets or hauling frames in the current build?
You should check Military Surplus and Banks. I know that I found some hauling frames and power armor pieces in Military Surplus, and I know that the bank has sometimes power armor and other high-end equipment in the safes of course you need to break into the bank.
An acetone torch maeks that pretty easy.
Ok. Who’s been mucking with the NPC names? I’m pretty sure they weren’t always horrible puns and internet pop culture references. I just spawned next to “Joe Friend”, was approached by 'Manik Depraseev", and “Leroy Jenkins” , and I’m pretty sure I ran into a “FrozenFoxy” a couple days ago.
Last time list of names for english language was changed was in early 2014.
RNG then I suppose. It’s entirely in line with my cataclysm experience that I would not get a single joke name until now, and then get them all at once. Found TWO monocles the other day in the same box and they’re supposed to be one of the rarest items in the game.
so, do you wear both monocles on one eye, or both on different eyes.
We need a recipe to glue both monocles together to make a “Dicles”.
