I just changed my season length mid game from 14 to 30 days. Does anyone know if that would affect anything that’s already happening in my world?

I think it will effect food longevity… no… no nevermind probably not. It won’t take effect until restart. If you have construction timing set to be effected by season length it will effect that. Someone suggested it might effect time it takes for broken limbs to mend as well.

How to get help from a NPC with crafting, I see a message pop up that he/she can help but I have no idea how.

Also I wish there was a command for NPC’s to close doors they pass.

Quick update on broken legs, FINALLY after a little over twenty days my left leg is completely and my right leg has started to mend. Again, been awhile since I’ve played so I might have just been impatient but it felt longer than usual. On a positive note, I did catch up on all my reading of skill books though I have nearly exhausted my food supply.

Are flamethrowers an optimal turret choice? I found an awesome looking bandit bulldozer and tried its flamethrower out, seems to be pretty damaging over time with the 3x3 square of fire it creates.

Problem with flamers is that they can catch you too.

But the serious issue is that intense fire can damage your vehicle. So if anything gets close to your vehicle and the flamer shoots at it it could destroy large portions of your car.

That doesn’t concern me too much. I’m not going to use automated turrets just yet, as I don’t really enjoy the idea of a massive, 1,000,000 ton machine flattening everything in its path, fully kitted out with everything. I use manual turrets as of now, and even if I am to use automated turrets, I surely won’t automatize a flamethrower.

Did horde spawns get a buff? Light step and overall keeping quite and I have them spawning around my area like mad. Also seems like fuel usage has had some tinkering, a motorcycle I’m using is sucking it down quick.

kevin is onto your tricks.

hordes seem to be more effective at destroying cars without killing themselves, spreading out, and in general honing in on noise. from each other.

you can frequently see hordes traveling past you if you hide and look.

which is fun for sure. its neat. and extra neat since blobs are a more consistent force in my mod.

what is less neat is that they can ‘drop down’ to our real level within 30 tiles of you. do badically right by your car

How do the fighting techniques work? For example some bashing weapons have brutal strike so is brutal strike something that needs to be activated or happen automatically?
