Spawn for now, afaik.
But hopefully soon we can see engine damage require fixing.
I vaguely recall seeing signs, newspapers, etc, being able to call up the name of the world. how do for cemetery?

Back after a break. Loving the new features! This game always advances so fast it’s crazy.
Anyways, newb question: how long does it currently take for legs to heal?
I got into a crowbar fight with an acidic zombie and apparently acid REALLY eats up your legs in no time now, knocking my leg health all the way down to nil. So, head back to base, read up my med and fab skills and make a leg splint. Put it on, eat, drink, read, rinse and repeat for about 7 days. Nothing. All my other health is prime, food intake has been all really healthy stuff (don’t know if that matters) and I haven’t been attacked any more.
If I remember correctly about 3-5 days per leg and I was good to go. Glitch?
Can you compare items in crafting meny like you can items you have in inventory with command I?

I dont know if it was changed recently. But its always been a random chance.
It takes your health and health modifier, and every so often it checks to see if youve been wearing your splint. Then it does [maths] and sees if you heal a point of health in a broken limb. Only 1 point is genned, and then you must heal it by sleeping or with healing items.
Try visiting a Mr. Stem in a hospital. They seem to have nerfed down the number of spitters, but there are more children and Greenies around.

Waited another two days and nothing. I’m gonna drop all encumbrance on my right leg and switch the splint to that side and give it another week on that side, if nothing, I might break my no cheat rule and debug a little leg healing.
Btw, I’m playing on 91 day seasons, I wonder if the healing process maybe scaled with that somehow although all the other limbs seem to be healing at a rate like I remember.
Construction is scaled, so it is possible than limb healing is to.
It would make some sense, since irl a broken limb is serious business.
…which makes having broken limbs as a broken cyborg (or anybody else, really, with the acidic discharge CBM) a REAL pain, since acidic discharge is the most common way to wake from sleep, and it does 1 point of damage to all 6 health bars…
I used to play broken cyborg all the time but lately i noticed some ass added the trait “frail” to it which cuts down HP by 50% on all parts so i’m not playing that character anymore.
But if you have broken cybernetics and they are annoying just eat food and use drugs to pump your INT and get a medkit to remove the worst ones that make noise, give damage, wake you up, lock your joints, make you fall down.
Do NPCs get artifact benifits?
Could I give it a ‘strong back otherattentions’ glove?
Im not sure if I can tell . . . I looked at the debug and I didnt see what I would expect.
Its weird. He seems to have a strong back. So maybe? But he isnt getting the dex bonus, from what I can see.

Whoa, SERIOUSLY? That’s insane. I haven’t updated in a while, but I often play cyborg with glass jaw, and the damage you take from removal failure does NOT take that into account. If your head is not 100%, you are likely to kill yourself on a removal failure.
I would expect frail is the same… making that MUCH MUCH MUCH harder. Does it at least give you more points if it includes frail? It darn well should.
by the by,
i confirm strong back works as does blink.
dex didnt.
he blinked out of the car, i swear it
Has anyone ever tried jousting zombies with a superbike and an awl pike?
Seems like a fun thing to do if it works!
Well, I’m pretty sure you need two hands to use a spear, so can’t take your hand off of the controls to use it.
But you can let go of the controls and then press [f]…

Somebody was posting about running around on a UNICYCLE with an awl pike! Might have to go searching for who that was…
are certain spilled liquids(diesel, oil, gasoline) flammable?
can i unload them in parts? I’d like spill small amounts of gasoline in multiple places outside my base for defensive purposes.
no.
only as a whole.
it takes 450 units of gas to make a ‘good’ fire.
so 2 small bottles.
.
a few of us tried to make a throwable gas spreader. limited success

It actually does work! It’s the most satisfying thing. I have a motorcycle (Modded Superbike) and if you control your speed it’s entirely possible. A regular tactic I use is driving as slow as I can and circling troublesome zombies. If you use the reach attack (F) you can stab them when they’re near you and effectively joust zombies. Sadly faster speed isn’t more damage, but it’s still a very effective tactic for even hordes if you’re careful about it.
You should totally do it because it works and it works so well.
Yea. You do a standard attack. Its just that you are also moving.
But there is some security in moving automatically. Imagine if you could normally move and attack in 1 turn.
Thanks for letting me know!
Seems like I have a new goal for my current character.
I just changed my season length mid game from 14 to 30 days. Does anyone know if that would affect anything that’s already happening in my world?
