I think you can only “Mine upstairs” or “Mine downstairs” via construction menu, but otherwise no - Not that I know of anyway.
Is there a way to carry a vehicle in another vehicle? I am moving all of my stuff to a mobile home, and would like to know if there is any way I can transport a bike or something in it, instead of having to drive both vehicles to the next city separately?
I tried making a vehicle with a foldable frame, but it stopped being foldable after I added a trunk to it, and even without the trunk try to fold it crashed my game.
EDIT: And how do clean water tanks work on vehicles? Does adding more than one provide more water storage?

Yes, more tanks = more storage. But like the name says, it only accepts clean water. But it can be useful to have two clean tanks and one dirty tank, so you have plenty water… Then again, a filled clean tank will last a LONG time.
I think its from the mainlined magic mod, i don’t remember the name off the top of my head. There is a quest line that leads to it. It starts with a request for a holy relic from a church.

why is a repeating crossbow a submachine gun skill again? and why can I not make a simple crossbow that doesnt use a skill I purposely avoid?

This is an often-requested option that the devs have talked about and (from what I know) want to implement at some point… but that point is not right now.
For now, folding vehicles is all you get (I made a Folding Parts pack that helps some with this, though I think making ALL parts fold for their disassembled volume isn’t really that crazy in the current environment). I have suggested some kind of merge/split as an interim solution eventually, and actually towing is desired (but MUCH more complicated to actually make work, so that won’t happen any time soon).
Have a little problem. I can’t install new vehicle parts at all. The picture shows an example to add an element to a hippie van.
I have the battery item. In the first box it shows me that I need a welder and an item with lifting quality. But I have a welder (500), welding googles and a scissor jack too.
Am I missing something?

I ran into that last night. The welder is bugged. Go check it in the inventory menu, and you may be able to see the text

I spawned a new welder and threw the bugged one away

Do swim fins actually affect your swim speed, or is the flavor text inaccurate?
Do fungi spread when they are outside of my reality bubble? I found that near the metropolis that i live in, there is a small town, in process of being transformed by fungi… so i’ll soon be in a giant clusterfuck, stuck right between triffid x fungi x blob war… unless they don’t spread outside of the bubble and i will never set foot near there… which might be impossible.
I don’t think that they do, but it’s possible that some of the hordes changes have led to them having rough processing number-wise at some point.

My only guess would be is that it’s to make them affected by “trigger happy” trait and cause the player to fire full auto.
Thats not a bad guess, but it doesnt have a burst mode. The repeating part is how its semi-automatic, holding 10 rounds in a basic ‘clip’.
My personal guess is that the faster rate of fire and the ‘weak’ rounds make it like a smg enough for somebody to get the idea that itd be cool to have a crossbow and not actually have to train achery.
