i think survivor ups rifle from survivor mod is craftable
I didn’t turn on any mods in my game.
How do I install solid lights? If I install the emergency lights I find on ambulances, the flicker. How do I get solid overhead lights?
Floodlights can be made with moderate skill and the approriate electronic parts. I beleive beginner electronic books and some mechanics books shoudl have them.
For the time being rotating lights will fufill much the same function, and if you really get hard up you can take floodlights off fire engines.
My character just now stopped getting sleepy, is being “hurt” randomly, and is throwing up. No conditions visible that could cause this except the occasional pain/frost nip.
Looks like radiation exposure since I just gained High Night Vision.
Where is the acid rains? I haven’t seen them for a year (in-game).
Are you sure that you install it right and doing everything correct? Character should stand in the tile with “electronic control unit” to run turrets.
1.is having greater number of combat techniques (more than two like on cudgel and survivor naginata) on weapon superior in combat than having less or to put it diffrent does techniques activate on same base rate on random?what techniques are most worthwille aside from block and rapid strike?
2.can you find any melee weapon skill book in game except book of five rings?played a lot of games never found anything except book of five rings?
3.how are gloves and boots armor calculated in combat?there is no hp for them just for legs and arms.wearing rubber boots and light gloves didnt seemed to ever put me in problem or am i missing something…
4.is 9 max number of martial techniques to be learned in game considering number keys are used to change them?
vassock sounds like your guy has got a parasite. Take an anti-parasitic if there’s no listed status (such as an infection) on your character sheet.
How do you set up turrets on vehicles? I have a electronic control unit and a flamethrower on my vehicle, when i try to enable it, it says i have to configure it, but when i try to configure it nothing happens.

Depends on technique. Most techniques cover different areas of combat. Block, rapid strike and precise strike all have different triggers - block is on block, rapid on non-crit, precise on crit. Rapid strike is probably the best thing you can have on a melee weapon.

Hits to feet damage legs, hits to hands damage arms.

There is no limit.

Looks like radiation since I was disassembling an armored vehicle inside a waste plant/some other radioactive place and gained a mutation.
Is there a non-grindy, non-book way to get mechanics up to 1?
Also, did archery get a major nerf or am I not using the aiming system properly? Can some explain what all the options do/mean? Right now I rarely hit my target, and when I do its either a grazing hit or piddling damage. (Using longbow with wooden arrows at 4 archery)
Chem lab vs kitchen, what’s the difference? Do I need 2 or does the chem lab do all of it?
What happens if I have two tanks to hold clean water and remove one of them. Let’s say there was a quantity of clean water that could fit in just one tank. What happens to it?
Also, is there a way to load up on salt (for preserving food)? Are there salt water tanks?
chem lab w/pot > kitchen.
try removing one water tank and see
take spare bottles and fill them with swamp water
kitchen only have integrated water faucet as advantage and maybe integrated pot for cooking and is inferior in chemistry making.get chem lab and install faucet on it and you have all advanteges of kitchen and can do high level chemistry.
you will need lot of nails and two by fours but you can install wooden boxes into wooden frame and i when i think of it now i belive other things you can install on lvl 0 on vehicle can raise your mechanics too.
A chem lab is a chemistry set that uses the vehicle power system - chemistry sets have a built-in hotplate (that’s what uses the power).
A kitchen is a hotplate that uses the vehicle power system (so, same as chem set), has a pot, and has a water faucet.
So, install a chem lab, install a water faucet on it, and throw a pot in chem lab’s 400 storage, and you’ve got all the benefits of both in one square.

When you remove a tank, it will have whatever liquid it had in it - gasoline tank in a car with 3% gas will still be 3% full of gas, for instance. At least on found vehicles, all the tanks will have the same proportional amount.
Basically, remove the tank, the 'U’nload it back into the vehicle, and whatever won’t fit will still be left in the tank you removed.
Unfortunately, there aren’t salt water tanks. I have wished there were on a few occasions, actually, but not all that often, so I haven’t ever bothered to request it. Generally, in those instances, I’ll remove a tank, manually fill it, then throw it in the vehicle’s storage area and cart it back that way. Not all that much different, really.
What I usually end up doing is spending a day in the swamp (especially in winter, so nothing spawns and bothers me) making salt - it’s much more compact. Two 8-hour sessions of salt-making gives 320 salt for only 40 volume, which generally lasts me the rest of that character’s play time (I tend to make a lot of smoked meat instead of jerky, so if you make a lot of jerky, that probably won’t work for you long-term).
I need help with turrets and vehicles, im not sure how to set them up properly on my vehicle. I have a truck with a flamethrower in the middle back and a M60 in the middle front, but i have no clue how to convert them into usable turrets.

Alternately, you could use a kitchen unit and put a chem set (or a basic chem set, which doesn’t have the attached hotplate) in the kitchen storage and have almost exactly the same result.
