They are fairly hard to hit, AND they are immune to the “start a fire under them” trick (since they fly), which makes them basically invulnerable in melee to a non-melee character early on.
Low hp doesn’t matter if you can’t hit them.

What gun mods (As in Icecoon’s, not suppressors and stuff) are compatible with the new magazines?
artyom’s should be
I’ve noticed my clothing isn’t increasing in damage resistance when reinforced. Is this intentional?
Yes.
Anyone else having issues getting laser turrets to fire?
it either spams the ‘no ammo’ git or spins and nothing else.
Has anybody been able to get laser turrets to fire? Ive been debugging them in and changing the weathr and all that but they wont. I havent modded them
Does the stone ring prevent fire from spreading if placed in a building or does it just work for that outside?
Aka… what does it do?

Vehicle Additions Pack mod makes cargo carriers foldable, but they still take up as much volume and weigh as much.
The water purifier can be vehicle mounted, has the same (P)urify vehicle tank contents feature as the FOODCO, and is much easier to find at a sporting goods store and/or craft from materials. In fact, if you want to craft a FOODCO, you need a water purifier anyway so craft one first, then remove it and craft your FOODCO once you get the other components.

VAP annoys me by making rocks ammo.

This seems like it should be fixed. That is the whole purpose of a fire ring. If it doesn’t then just call it a rock ring.

Actually, it’s the Folding Parts mod that does that, and I considering making EVERYTHING foldable at the same volume as the parts it’s made from (or at least a whole lot of things), but I don’t think Kevin would have let it in that way.
Personally, I think any one-square “vehicle” should be able to be considered an “item” - seriously, I can pick up a shopping cart and put it in the bed of my truck, eh? Just making things “foldable” is a decent stop-gap measure until we can haul/tow other vehicles (I sometimes make a folding electric bicycle, for instance, that I use as an outrider).
thats a genius. Stop gap measure. I vote Deoxy and his platform for things.
…I would very much like to fold the entire Solar Roller VI and pick it up so I can carry it down a flight of stairs. There is no reason why I shouldn’t be able to ram Amigara horrors.
O.o I suppose M would be strong enough to potentially pick up the entire solar roller if 2+ sized vehicles were “foldable” Without granades that isn’t something anyone needs to worry about though… especially since no one said that 2+ size vehicles should be fold-able.
What do all these turret modes ? “B”, “1”, “M” and “m”?
I wish to echo this sentiment some.
B is full auto, or at least burst mode. which may as well be ‘spluge out ammo’ mode.
1 is single shot per round. conservative but useful for small crowds and such.

Half of the answer - it is better than nothing Thank you.
We look forward to the next one, who understands the turrets.
The m’s are manual, but I’m not sure what each means. One shot vs burst manual?
LET’S GET DIGGIN!
If I have time I dig a couple of dozen spiked pit traps in a checkerboard pattern. Moving between those as I attack cuts down on them attacking me and lets me attack with impunity. Just use a fast melee weapon so they can’t catch up to you while you are swinging.
I AM THE GOD OF HELLFIRE AND I BRING YOU… FIRE!
Forest fires are good. Just start one, let it grow a bit and then train the enemies through it. Also you can make a patch of flame with a flamethrower and do the same thing. I keep a couple of spraycan flamethrowers just for that reason. Don’t forget to hit " to run.
Edit: I have never tried both. But I will next time I get a chance. Does anybody know if spike pit traps burn?
