Did pipe bombs always kill turrets if they landed on them?
because I may have been underestimating their usefullness and overestimating the danger of earlygame labs.
Maybe explosives were buffed?
pedit: a pipe bomb and an exploding turret just heavily injured a group of nearby zoms.
It’s dated but the wiki’s guide to the lab challenge mentions using a match head bomb to take out the final gun. I’d think pipe bombs would be more powerful than that.
Another way to do it is to examine the vehicle, move the cursor over the appropriate tank, and press ‘f’ to fill - this will dump ALL of that type of liquid from you to the vehicle (so for ex, if you had 10 bottles of water on you this would quickly put them in your clean water tank).
Some other tips for this are, if you have a rubber hose and park near a water source like a pond, pool, river you can “siphen” the source to fully fill your dirty water tank(s).
Sometimes it takes a while to get a FOODCO kitchen buddy in your ride (which does wonders for purifying large quantities of water), so don’t forget about batch crafting…you can do up 20 water at a time to fill your vehicle if you have a kitchen unit (or other means but kitchen units are usually easy to find). Shift +7, “f” to find “clean” water, “b” for batch, hit “y” when prompted to fill vehicle and hit any direction if you’re in the vehicle.
Dunno if it’s from experimental or the vehicle addon pack but having a couple of funnels on your vehicle does wonders for helping keep your dirty water tank topped off.
If an area is infested with giant worms is it possible to clear them all out or will they keep respawning in that area? Using static spawn if that matters. The mounds would make the area great for farming if it weren’t for the worms.
That character recently died to a giant wasp that also managed to take out my NPC companion. But I hadn’t managed to get a car up and running yet, the shelter I spawned at had a giant worm infestation. I was just glad those mounds outside my door weren’t land mines.
Low gear at the time. If they get a few lucky blows in I’m usually in too much pain to deal with it. I could have tried fire but I was in the middle of the forest and likely would have been caught in my own inferno.
What is the best vehicle to shoot for? Right now I have an RV that I fully repaired, put on some solar panels, put in heavy duty frame in the front, and put steel plating all around.
Maybe the armor. After dropping my duffle bag (the first thing I do when I know melee is unavoidable) I’m usually at yellow torso encumbrance. I can kill giant wasps with my knife spear at that encumbrance but sometimes they get enough stings in that my pain is over 100 and that usually spells the end of my character if they’re still up or there’s anything else hostile around. Thin skinned drawback probably isn’t helping now that I think about it.
Looking at the wiki I probably should train up my blunt weapons and switch to crowbar with them though. That might help me in the future if I don’t wiff too much due to being more skilled at piercing.
long as you have a decent weapon you can rely on. I think I might range them first myself… never paid much attention. Slingshot if memory serves. Don’t run into them that much surprisingly enough.
Which way does construction scaling work. It says multiplies the speed of construction by percentage. Does that mean that 90 would be 90 percent work speed?
Or does it actually work on 90 would be 90 percent completion time?
All the other menu options are very clear about which way does what… this one less so.
How do I ensure zombies go down for good? I know smashing the bodies works, but what about burning them? Does that work, too? How can I tell when it is burned enough?
