Currently, this is your only option.
^ what he said. Trailer physics is not something that is currently doable, due to the complications of backing. You can dissemble it and attach it to the back of the tank if you want it that bad though. But as you said, very time consuming.
Knowing that trailers is not something that is going to happen anytime in the near future, vehichle joining/cutting would be nice. Probably a lot more complicated then it sounds. Think I vaguely remember a discussion that said as much at some point but I am not sure.
Been doing a few quests for my recently recruited survivor, and I’m stuck on one particular one. “Reach Farm House”
By “Farm House” does it mean those normally generated farms? Or those Refugee/Ranch ones?
Thanks in advance!
does it not mark it on the map? It sounds like one of those missions that should, more of a The farmhouse not a farmhouse kind from what little you gave. Though I have not seen that mission yet, so I wouldn’t know.
How would that joining/cutting work?

What i do is make a folding cart. Sure, it has 200 storage max, but it is faster and less tedious than the alternatives.
My npcs heads keep exploding randomly while trying to reload, wat do

Can we have folding vehicles with greater storage?

That’s all the travois I drag behind me now has. It’s usually enough to hit a few buildings and head back to base with my loot, I only have to make a second trip when I find a big haul. How would I make a foldable version?
same way you make the normal kind. Two frames, one for the box/basket/other storage and one to be the folding frame. Do a search in the crafting menu for “folding” should pop right up.
(Sorry for the late reply) Sadly no, there is no marker for it on the map, thanks (I guess). I’ll check if it’s a normal farm my NPC friend was talking about…
Edit: Yes! it is a normal farm house (Thank god for that, there’s no refugee quest farmhouse on my map that’s visible)
yea, my experiences so far say that if they don’t mark a specific location on the map, its a find one somewhere, kind of mission.
So I got my makeshift welder. Any permanent power solutions? I had enough batteries saved up to fix up my messed up cop car so I don’t freeze to death, but what is a permanent solution for getting batteries for my welder?
Making your own with potatoes and lemons
looting electronic stores and rationing yourself batteries
Finding a real welder that uses 50 charges per use instead of 75. Makeshift welders are things.
Leveling up your electornics and mechanics to 4 and reading elctric circuit theory so you can make the vehicle welding rig.
Finding a vehicle welding rig.
And I assume vehicle welding rigs are powered by the car battery and therefore really work off of gas?
They run on magic.
A solar panel on a shopping cart, replace the basket with the welder.
Not only does the welder hold more, it uses so little electricity that the single solar panel will do everything but the longest of jobs. if you also add a battery, oc. I also like to put a controls on them so I can use a dome light.
Why not just install it in a regular car?
What is the easiest (renewable) way to get food? Right now my only food source is running over wolves with my car. I have guns, but the ammo is very limited. Will a slingshot + rocks work?
A slingshot for small animals might work and enough rocks and skill could kill medium size animals.
So I found a welder. Does it matter if I use my makeshift welder or a normal welder when constructing a vehicle-mounted welder?
