Red-green color blindness is one of the most common kinds of color blindness in men I believe.
Tiny spoiler
I’ve been doing the Tacoma Commune missions, im at the “gather 2 motor” mission. What exactly do i need to bring? I tried engines, electric motors and all sorts of batteries?
Huehuehue.
Electric motors. Can’t recall if it wants small or large, though.

Not large OR small - just plain “electric motor” - they are uncraftable and somewhat rare. Solar cars have 2 of them, that’s the easiest source I know of.
The wiki makes reference to a run command, and running. The controls section says press " to toggle run (on the wiki), but the game doesn’t recognize it.
Was running removed? if not, how do I run?

Was running removed? if not, how do I run?
The running function is only a feature of experimental builds iirc. You toggle running on and off by pressing Shift+’ (the latter being the key to ignore monsters in safemode, or simply the quotation mark ["]).

Yesss, join us experimental players.
Are you using the stable? I’m almost certain running is only in the experimentals. Join us! We have minimaps and isocentric views and our hordes aren’t omniscient and 3D vision and and and…lots of stuff.
edit: Double ninja’d!
Running is pretty sweet. makes Zmen being as fast as you okay, since you can jog away if there is an issue.

Perhaps it also requires marksman skill ?
At mechanics 8 you can accurize your guns. I checked with debug on my mod test build, and lowered the skill to mechanics 7, the game informed me it needed a higher mechanics skill level to accurize. At mechanics 8 it accurized the guns.
You are very close to Mechanics 8, another 50% and you’re good to go.
Is there any difference between a bone/wooden needle and a sewing kit?
Sewing kit is a required crafting tool in many recipes. Needles can’t be used in anything.
There might be differences in repair times, thread consumption and difficulty checks. I wouldn’t know, though.
Needles can be used in crafting like a sewing kit. Sewing kits can hold more thread, and im assuming fail at repairs slightly less often than an improvised needle.
How does one go about collecting all the necessary materials to craft a makeshift welder?
In my previous playthrough I was able to disassemble spare chemistry sets and soldering irons for heat elements, and had copper wires I could use lying around; this time I’ve got neither. I hear refrigerators(?) are a good source of copper wires but have no clue where to find a good source of heat elements.

If I recall, ovens should have heating elements. Most reliable source for them.
Stove = oven? All I find are ovens, and I know you can craft wood stoves but I never find ones spawned naturally. Is it me just being a retard and both words referencing the same item (English isn’t my first language) or do I need to look specifically for a stove like the wiki says?

I meant oven. The ones you’d find in houses with the fridges, not the wood stoves you construct.
I meant oven. The ones you’d find in houses with the fridges, not the wood stoves you construct.
I see. In that case this should be simple as ovens are very common and I’ve got plenty in the houses nearby.
What about copper wiring? Is the refridgerator thing going to work or is there a better source?
EDIT #1 - Damn. Disassembling fridges yields copper tubing, and I need copper wires. Where do I get 'em?
EDIT #2 - Googling this actually gave me some results. I’ll go ahead and disassemble all the TVs I found.
