Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!

Recoil and dispersion are the bane of any gun’s existence. Noise though? Bad if you have horde mode on, but then again a not of things are bad to do if you’re in horde mode. Like walking. Or bopping undead with things. Or breathing.

I made the Pneumatic LMG’s recoil and dispersion only be a bit worse than the normal pneumatic rifle. It will hit a little bit less often but will has more power per shot and can accept many mods.

idk. Compared to cleaning out a horde or 5, never having to deal with zombies again and completely obsoleting the concept of defense is worse.

And now that evolution is on theres even incentive to clean out your world and highlight its stagnancy.

True. I can’t recall if the PAR has shitty dispersion or not to begin with, but I would assume the noise and recoil aren’t that bad, so you wouldn’t be suffering as much wielding an LMG version.

How about 5+ rifles plus mods, worth it? I mean with enough skill the weapon flaws are non-existent?

With mods, the weapon’s drawbacks might as well be zero (same with normal pneumatic assault rifle) but with high enough skill, the weapon is good without mods.

yes i did, thanks.

Did tailoring get nerfed in one of the latest builds, seems like i cant make my stuff sturdy at all even real basic gear like my undies. I always had a bit of trouble at first but after a half a dozen tries it usually worked with little or no skills now its actually damaging stuff that’s fully repaired when i have 1 lvl of tailoring and not making it sturdy. Even with a tailoring kit i still haven’t been able to get any improvements after dozens of attempts.

Edit: Nevermind, seems that when i reached lvl 2 it became alot quicker to fix up my gear.

Screw your survivor weapons, got my SCAR-H with only 50 recoil.

Not enuff dakka, silly 'umie. o3o

And I got my M27 IAR firing .308 rounds. I can destroy a tank drone 50 tiles away, in broad daylight. And I killed a horde of hulks spawned by the thriller without getting smashed with one of them. It ain’t got burst thanks to the sniper conversion, but it’s a killer.

I think the new repair system changed the scaling for skill levels. You are now a lot more likely to fail at low levels. I haven’t made it to high level tailoring yet to see if there’s a speed benefit there…hope so.

Level 2 is sufficient to repair/fortify most clothing. Most basic clothing that you can find on zoms, at least.

Where is the Targeting thingymajiger for making vehicle turrets?

Can an Welding rig get me into Bunkers and Labs?

Nope. A jackhammer can take down the walls and an acetelyne torch can take down the door. Sonic resonator cbm is handy too. Explosives are capable, provided they are big enough. I think you could smash down the wall with a homewrecker/sledgehammer and hydraulic muscles, but I haven’t tried that in awhile.

edit: On second thought, the rig could get you inside the walls indirectly. Just make a massive spike of a vehicle and ram the lab at high speed. Good luck.
