i never do burst but i think that pneumatic assault rifle do not have burst fire (but pneumatic LMG probaly have one)
How can i tell if I’ve lost an arm or if it’s broken? My right arm is at :, but my character desctription at @ doesn’t mention a lost arm
arm will be at 0 health. If splint remains on for days to no effect and first aid is useless, it is a missing limb and the only way to fix is with stem cell machine sometimes found in hostpitals.
is the health statues still red? if so, then it is still not broken, if it is grey/black, better craft an arm splint!
So busted limbs now turn grey when depleted?
Either way, an alternative is trying to use bandages or first aid. If the injured limb isn’t shown on the list of parts to heal, it’s fucked.
So uhh, I managed to somehow lose my NPC companion while exploring and looting houses around my temporary home base.
The last time I remember him following me was when I saw a zombie Brute 40-50 tiles away so I figured he went ahead to fight that, but I’m not strong enough to check in case the Brute is still alive; besides, I ordered him to only attack creatures that get too close, and I didn’t get to fight anything until I realized he was gone. He was also ordered to sleep when tired but checking the beds in the houses nearby yielded nothing of importance so far. I haven’t found his corpse and checking the message log § from the last time he was with me helped me with nothing. I can’t ©hat with him from a distance and I no longer get messages that tell me he could help me batch craft my items. None of my items are gone either, as far as I’m aware.
Can static NPCs randomly leave you? Can they accidentally lose you in the dark? Do you get a special notification if an ally NPC leaves you or gets killed? If he found himself a place to sleep, how does the game determine that place is safe and how can I find him with that information?
The only way to lose an arm is to install the Fusion Blaster CBM.
Just install a splint and keep it there. It may take a long time to start healing, but it will do so eventually.

Haven’t lost a limb in a while, just know its not red anymore.

Is the npc still in the map? if so, just go there and see if they are alive.
how rare is monocle? i just got one, seriusly i think that rng love me today
The pneumatic assault rifle does have burst fire. It’s max capacity is 15 rounds; can’t add magazines and reloading is one shot at a time, and burst is five shots at a time, 11 if rapid blowback is attached.
With high enough skills in rifles, the results can be quite potent.
Says “burst 5” So I assume you can auto and shot 5 rounds (pebbles) in a row?
The Pneumatic bolt weapon is better if you pretend to recover the ammo, you can hold 8 steel bolts (and only steel bolts). You can only shoot 1 at time.
But the other you can shoot 5 with 15 per pebble so theoretically if you are accurate, you can do more damage, I am right?
Anyways having 2 silent ranged weapons are nice.

yes basically this, thanks for the example Az!
Adding to what I posted, with that high rifles skill other rifles can offer a lot more damage and range. The pneumatic assault rifle doesn’t have the range of most rifles, but it’s a fast way to level up rifles skill and ammunition can be easy to craft, and for most part it can work well against zombies.
Should totally make a single-shot 120mm rifle.
You are right I peek in those because I need a cheap silent weapon that offer me more punch than a bow / crossbow. I just made a bolt one, but one question about this: when you “train”, you got exp with every successful hit with a burst weapon? (I don´t have any right now) or you just one action (the action to burst no matter how shots are in the burst)?

No, they’re not on the map anymore. The Brute also “magically” had its health reduced down to ‘heavily damaged’ all the way from full health, but I didn’t see a corpse yet. Do NPCs retreat if they get too damaged? Can their corpses be eaten/destroyed leaving no trace otherwise?
Corpses can be destroyed by fire, I am not sure if they disappear over time. Npcs don’t retreat unless they have the flee status ans even then they only flee from the player.
Corpses will rot over time, unless they still possess the revive tag.
All organics, non-magic things rot.
But it does beg the qustion, what effect does fire have on Zed reanimation health/reviving tags?
Someone already tested the Survivor Pneumatic LMG? says about a bit more noisy and increased recoil and less accurate. Those bad thing are to much or is not even a issue?
It not that big of an issue, the noise can be deleted completely by suppressors and the recoil/accuracy can be fixed by weapon mods but are not that bad if left alone.
