Liquids on the floor, no container? If so you can’t, I recall. You can clean the floor up with a mop, at least.

You can drink them directly from the floor.

Thanks, I would have never thought of using a mop for its intended purpose.

it even make sense if its on floor but it works on dirt too

if i ask npc to train me he will train me again after some time? this tag do not disapear

I thought they could train you as long as they have a higher skill lvl then you.

Additionally, after being asked to train the player, a given NPC won’t train you anymore for about a day.

I think you also have to be near enough to the NPC for the timer to wind down before another skill can be taught.

Aye, they need to be in the reality bubble to really have any effect… But when you got a nice base you can take them there, order them to not touch your shit, have them teach you/batch create, and then tell them ‘youre leaving’ for a while (not stand guard), that will make them ordinary NPC’s who don’t need food/sleep.

Was the chance to get additional seeds on harvest nerfed on the in-development versions recently? I downloaded a fresh version of the in-dev version and picked a farmer start. I noticed when I got a couple harvests in that I was getting far less additional seeds than I used to in the versions I played only a while after the 0.C release. It’s absolutely crippling to getting a sugar beet crop going when you only get 4 seeds and it’s all luck on getting a few if any if you’re lucky enough to run into a gardening supply store.

Why isn’t there a crop into seed recipe like there is for bee balm and others so that wheat, barley, sugar beets, etc. etc. etc. aren’t inexplicably kneecapped?

Minireactor question: how much plutonium does this thing use and how fast? Where’s a good place to farm more? And seeing as the mega tank had like five of these, is there anything to do with spares?

There’s plutonium in bank vaults. Also manhacks, but that’s rarer. Get a ton of them to come after you and you can farm them. AFAIK the black box readers in labs are an infinite supply of manhacks when you fail at hacking the terminal. I never tried to run a reactor but the atomic minitank has 2 of them and it runs on 2 enhanced electric engines.

Power storage CBMs can also be taken apart for them, if I recall.

Does anyone know how to scroll down on item pages (I mean when you are in your inventory and you select the item, with all the things u can do with it on the side)?

I believe the pg up key should work.

Is it worth it to set up a vehicle-based water purifier for clean water?

Presumably “Page up” and “Page down” but I’ve never found an item with a description that long…

I’m like 40% certain that it’s more a matter of convenience than anything else–just putting cooking stuff on a recharged should have the same effect.

Hmm. Unless the power drained per unit of water is lower on the purifier? I’m unsure.

Thanks. I was used to using the < and > keys for scrolling in the earlier versions. As for John’s statement, most item’s descriptions are not very long, just beyond the border of the normal text box.

It’s faster than crafting it. You can fill the entire tank in one go. And it converts salt water to clean water.

But if you’re not using much of it, you can just batch craft it all.

Interesting. What about power per unit of water though, compared to boiling it with the kitchen unit?

If the purifier is more energy-efficient, I can see it having a definite niche in my future megavehicle projects. owo
