The refrigerators on houses and whatnot? They’ll spoil just as fast as putting them on the floor. Floors of ice labs are okay, though.

“Drop your Kel-Tec KSG” ~ Npc with .22 pipe rifle[/quote]

Never underestimate the stupidity of these guys. I was once driving slowly across an open field in my Baneblade, when suddenly I got interrupted by “DROP YOUR LAEVETAIN MOTHERFUCKER!”

And when I checked, he indeed also had a .22 pipe rifle. So I just decided ‘Fuck it!’, and opened the access hatches to my Baneblade to take a step out. Now, I’m wearing a full set of Reinforced Power Armor with the matching hauling frame, then there’s this guy. He just started shooting at me.

Step blam blam blamThe shot bounces off your armor

Step blam blam blamThe shot bounces off your armor
Activates Hydraulic Muscles blam blam blamThe shot bounces off your armor
The NPC is struck by your Laevetain for 215 points of damage
The dumbshit Dies!

Seriously, why can’t these guys just give up whenever they see a cyborg space marine hulk in power armor driving a tank with 11 cannons on it?

You should’ve given the dumbass a free turn to bop you with the gun, too. o3o

What’s the original weapon under that Laevetain?

looks it up

A broadsword, naturally.

Oh, I thought i’d be a zweihandler (Maybe even a combat chainsaw).

It seems to be based off a sword, so I assume it’s due to the selection of (vanilla) western swords basically being…zweihander, rapier, broadsword, and the generic forged sword that could be a gladius.

Can I craft a wrench from scratch?
I have an anvil and the books necessary to level up my fabrication skills.

Yes. Fabrication 4 seems to be it. The item browser is really useful for this sort of question.

Hmm. So, there’s an effect and I can’t figure out what applies it.

Dare I ask, how to release the gracken? o3o

Can you find books for weapon based martial arts somewhere ? I know you can get the niten ichi-ryu book from mansions but what about fencing and eskrima ?

My chimera scientist died of famine, Extreme Metabolism can be a merciless b*tch. While making a new character on Experimental scenario does anyone know if Genetically Unstable and Robust Genetics go fairly well? meaning if i’ll get good mutations regularly.

I got a sledgehammer, how do I topple walls without the entire building collapsing on top of me, I want to expand my room :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t try, man.
Just don’t.

You can also find fencing in mansions, at least. Conversely, I’ve found The Book of Five Rings in a regular dojo once, so those may be worth a look.

If I recall, they’re an excellent combo. The wiki I think says the odds go from roughly 1/3 chance of it favoring a good mutation to 2/3, but I might want to source-dive and confirm the math.

Carefully, if at all. Far as I can tell, build the walls and roof of your…expansion first, then knock a wall out, then be careful. Hell, skip every other target wall maybe. o3o

Its 2/3 random mutation and 1/3 random bad mutation.

Robust genetics flips bad to good mutations. So 2/3 random and 1/3 random good mutation.

Oh right, that’s it. Doh. ^^"

Yea, Chimera realistically isn’t a very good mutation tree for any semblance of long term survival, and without the right bionics, neither is Elf-A. Typically I would say Elf-A has a one year lifespan, and Chimera has a one month lifespan.

In the case of Elf-A, you’ll die from health depletion, caused by the Disintegration and Radiation. But it’s much easier to sustain yourself with it if you know exactly what you’re doing(Self Awareness can seriously help your long-term survivability).

Chimera will do basically all of the above. You’re going to starve to death, and if you don’t immediately starve to death, then you’re going to burn through your reserves of food within the span of a few weeks. Then even if you resolve the issue of not starving to death, in the long term you have to deal with self-irradiation, disintegration constantly depleting both your soft health and hard health, and of course the rapid mutation shitting all over your day.

I would pretty much only do Chimera if I wanted to go out in a blaze of glory if some super-horde was heading in the direction of my mansion.

I really should try a chimera mutant sometime for the hell of it. Maybe modding in a profession pre-loaded with the minimum traits needed to hit the threshold. o3o

Cool, looks like I’m going to visit the nearest hazardous waste sarcophagus to accelerate the process, watch out for the Metallassomaiphile mutation.
