Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!

…oh…

It’s quite nifty too, since doing it one at a time can be annoying.

It really sped up filling my water tanks.

If I have a dirty water tank (small), a faucet, and a funnel on a single vehicle tile, will I be able to collect rainwater and harvest it?

Da. Mount all that on your vehicle, add a kitchen unit and a clean water tank, and you’re all set.

i can instantly clean whole water tanks, my stadionary base have crafting rigs and 2 tanks of clean water and 2 of dirty water i fill 2 dirty water tanks with my metal gallon barrels of rain water (funnels collect a lot of water) and i have 2 tanks of clean water in blink of eye

How do I make a vehicle kitchen unit?

easiest to find them. You should get the crafting recipe from a book I think. I forget which one

Oops. Wrong thread. xD

Exactly what it sounds like. They help you out with crafting and get it done quicker.[/quote] Holy hamster wheel Batman, I might actually get a few NPC buddies now.

Best way is as someone said, find a ruined RV and scavange one. That’s another tip-- if there’s an RV somewhere nearby with some leftover battery, see if the kitchen is intact. If it is you don’t even need to make fire to cook food (for as long as the battery lasts anyway.)

To craft them you need one of the early crafts or electronics recipe books-- I think crafts 101 has it and about 2 or 3 of the electronics books have it. What’s a transistor and HAM radio maybe? can’t recall. It only needs a small amount of skill to learn the recipe as well.

tools? really can’t remember. think you can do it with just a soldering iron. Components: Hot plate and water purifier off the top of my head.

whats this difference between a fungal bloom and fungal flowers? I know what the bloom offers for obvious reasons. Also I remember a while back in a older version I came across a “breather pit”. It’s a lot like the old slime pits where it’s just a mass of sleeping mes, but instead it’s a bunch of pink slime things called breathers, it also wasn’t noted on the map as a tile.

And on that note I’ve seen the slime pits have changed to an actual pit/cave. I’ve found a couple mutagens sometimes when coming across them, but is there any real function to them?

Fungal flowers are very, very hectic. They’re a lot more prone to spreading than the other two types.

You must visit all three to gain the set of mutations needed to become a fungal mutant. We are the Mycus. Join us.

And slime pits…aside from other random junk and all the blob globs you’ll ever need, it’s rather intentionally not a place you want to conquer unless you’re more concerned with purging the infestation than gaining a reward.

Hmm, thanks, in that case I’ve already noticed that the pits are very flammable so that’s relatively easy. Also yes, I generally try to be come one of the fungus but I usually don’t have the time or due before I do  .

Anyone know what the breather pits are though?

I’ve never seen a breather pit, sadly. ;w;

As far as I know, breathers only spawn around “breathing” artifacts.

Possibly. Or the other way around. I still haven’t figured that out.

Is it possible to reorder fighting styles or forget them? There are some that I never use and it just adds to a long list. Not a big problem though, just curious.
