Is there any creature (outside of the 120mm tankbot and a npc that somehow gains said rifle) that can out damage the anti material turret
Is there a way to take out or avoid turrets/mil-spec ones? I’m pretty nooby, and I don’t have much gear. I attempted running past with stimulants, and nearly died.
Again, either use a good long-range rifle or abuse the fact that they can’t shoot what they can’t see.

Invisibility is very good against everything.
So, my glorious APC has two 55-gallon tanks of dirty water which are full, two 55-gallon tanks of clean water which are empty, and a water purifier. Is there any way I can purify the water and dump it directly into the vehicle, without having to remove any of the tanks?
Never played with the vehicle-mounted water purifier.
I recall that boiling water in vehicle tanks works oddly. You need an empty container on hand with enough size for a given batch, but AFTER you boil the water, the game offers the option of filling the clean water tanks instead.
I can only assume the “has a container” check supersedes the “able to refill a vehicle” check.
install the water purifier in to the car then use the purfiy water in tank option…make sure the engine running if you don’t have solar with that much water…
How can you fit in Kevlar clothing and other things that are not in the range of what sewing kits and tailoring kits can fit? I’m currently trying to fit my MBR vest in.
How do you install a cargo carrier? And is it possible to make your vehicle increase its size by adding frames?
Kevlar, plastic, and metal are all repaired/refitted with the soldering iron, and it doesn’t use tailoring (mechanics, I think, though it may be fabrication in some instances?). There’s no way that I know of perform the tailor kit actions on those items.

you need a cargo carrier - the easiest way to get one of those is to remove it from a flatbed truck (NOT a pickup - they just have trunks). You also need a welder or duck tape. There can only be one thing with storage space on any vehicle space, so you can’t have a cargo carrier on the same space as a seat, a trunk, a box, a bed, or a turret that has space for ammo.

yes, just move one space off the vehicle, hit ‘i’, and have a frame available (or one of the other things that can be installed as a “base” item)
Speaking of vehicles and turrets etc, I’m not sure what the situation is with those at the moment.
Do they still shoot your own vehicle by mistake?
Can you put a turret on an “inner” tile on a vehicle or must they be on the outside? Is it just limited by what they can see (assuming they can’t see past boards)?
It’s just plain weird that cargo carriers have suddenly peaked as the latest “super confusing thing” this past page or two. ._.
for me turrets do IFF beeps if they see enemy but vehicle part is blocking line of fire
they do this same if player block this
Hmm. Whereas with manual firing, boards and other vehicle parts are shot over harmlessly.
it looks like boards stop bullets but i am not sure
I assume frames are fine though? So if I was to make the outer part of the vehicle of heavy frames and have an inner “box” of boards for the driver and all the other stuff, while the turrets sit on the ring of frames…?
frames, quarterpannels, plating, wheels, solar panels its all fine, not sure about doors and windshields
For me, my needler fired through the frame, spiked plating, and windshield and did not harm any of them.
so only boards block bullets?
It depends on if you mean vehicle-mounted turrets or ENEMY turrets.
Vehicle-mounted turrets are on the roof, so they should happily fire over the vehicle without consequence. Some situations might make you exposed to fire from it, in which case it’ll start beeping and refusing to fire. Not sure what situation that occurs in, but as far as I can tell it might be eliminated by having a roof over where you’re sitting.
Enemy turrets, as in the monsters, have their shots blocked by boards, closed doors, windshields, even quarterpanels. Basically anything that would block movement. Boards or other opaque vehicle parts have the added advantage of preventing the enemy from seeing you, and thus firing on you. Especially important because gunfire will wear down the parts of the vehicle you’re using for cover. Windshields especially won’t last long.
