If you can fit the very corner of a vehicle in front of or behind it, you might be able to turn in and give it a little love tap to start it rolling. Other than that, hope you can drive it, push it, or smash it to bits.

Irl, an explosion of sufficient size can insta-suffocate a fire. Does this work in CDDA or does it just add more boom to the existing chaos that used to be my house?

Is it normal for every nearby horde to immediately head for your shelter when ever you start a new game? I’ve been playing for a while now and I noticed that it seems like the loudest sound in the game is a player who just spawned in his shelter.

Nope, explosions only cause damage to stuff.

If there is no loud (20+) sound, the hordes move around randomly, it just looks like they head for the shelter.

Whatever the case, I’m back to trembling and hallucinating because I ditched the vodka. I REALLY wish that withdrawal symptoms weren’t so sudden. Cravings and the status message should appear first, THEN the other side effects.

Not sure…I’ll see. I’d be sorely tempted to PR a change that makes the warnings hit first.

I’d also like to PR a way for professions to alter faction reputations, if only I knew how…anyone got suggestions? Making convicts and other related classes neutral to raiders and hostile to old-guard would be amusing.

Besides the computer (again not trying to spoiler it), is there supposed to be something else? I have a jackhammer I could dig around but I’d hate to waste the 10k gas I have on me.

Haven’t used the computer yet? Artifacts and !!FUN!! will ensue if you kill what spawn from it fast enough.

Hmm, got 2, . Boots of undying beasts. Felt an ‘evil’ presence. Which… yeah, no thanks. Gave a boost to stats but I’ve already dealt with that one before.

Dagger of Forgotton Horrors. Which, has a cool name. I used it, teleport + a big boom, and it emits smoke… Now how to get more charges…

Recharge method varies, but all of them are automatic. If it has one at all, it’ll either do so over time, do so with enough time spent in the sun, or do so over time while inflicting some form of harm on you.

interesting note… I butchered the boots into leather patches… I’m still leaving them there… So artifacts can be destroyed.
