there was a military blockade near where I set up at the edge of town, after leading hordes to wipe out the turrets I found a random plutonium cell. Is it dangerous to handle it/ be near it? wiki didn’t say anything about rad poisoning and such but I am still hesitant to pick it up until I know.

Plutonium cells are safe to pick up if they aren’t damaged.

They might leak radiation if damaged, but I’m not sure.

They do. If something that sounds Nuclear is damaged and ISN’T emanating an ominous green glow, that’s the exception.

They are all covered in metal and I don’t want to have to drive my truck into the wall everytime just to be disappointed. I know explosives work as well but I’m trying to figure out a way to do it practically, minimum damage to everything and quietly.

Construct a homewrecker and bash down a wall.
Homewreckers are easy to make in the city with all the strings from windows and steel from car wrecks. They are also a good anti-wall weapon.

I think a better way to read this is “Do not make bug reports about things that happen while playing a character with schizophrenia.”

Schizophrenic is referenced in literally 1 line in the entire source code and the effects it triggers all look relatively safe code-wise.
I wouldn’t take it, because it looks relatively harmless but annoying (I prefer harmful un-annoying traits), but it should not crash the game.

So I’m at a point in the game where all those stuff I’ve hoarded before suddenly becomes useful for crafting. Thing is, if I craft everything I want and able to craft then I would be sitting in my base for at least 7-10 days straight.

Currently on day 7 in autumn, playing with a 14 days season. My question is. Is there a real trade off (dont care about food becoming bad) or is it okay to just craft in my base for almost a season so I can come out decked out like Inspector Gadget ?

Yeah, this is sorta the intent IIRC. You wouldn’t believe the number of reports we got about pixelated screens, temperature differences, etc. that were all being caused by Schizophrenia instead of by actual bugs.

the whole idea was to keep the stuff in the cart too. i dont think folding it will work.

also, how do you cut up logs with an axe without having to pick up the logs. whenever i activate the axe, i can only cut up things in my inventory

Wait for the night, stay out of their light range and chuck planks at them.
May require you to take off your clothing to get low torso, arm and hand encumbrance and possibly also to grind up 1-2 points of throwing, but it certainly works.

Also having problems with turrets. Since labs have ungodly amount of turrets, I’m trying to just make myself invulnerable to these SoBs.

I already have a basic power armor, ups and power armor interface cbm. Where should I go to search for a power armor helmet ?
