Regarding the Plutonium generator found around some barracks, is there a minimum skill to extract the minireactor? or is a random result? I’m really glad there’s a somewhat more reliable way to get minireactors than hoping for a random bank drop or running into a super-rare bubble car, but I can’t seem to disassemble the darn thing and get a reactor.
You can t because we can t.
Quick Question, what do Power Substations do?
Just wondering, as I heard something about regional power.
Military generators should be disassembleable for minireactors in experimental–might need more skill or tools?

Basically anywhere a grenade would normally spawn, but it’s a very very slim chance.
Okay, so both my arms broke after I contracted a fungal infection. I splinted them, and my left one healed up right away, but I’ve worn the splint for about a week now and the right one is still broken. Is there something I’m missing?
Yes. There is a large mushroom growing out of your severed arm socket.
Nope, arm’s still there, just needs more time and resources (stay fed, watered, rested, healthy).
I would heal myself however or your arms will just break again (I think)
Last I knew the arm-breaker can and does repeat, yeah.
Alright, so I looted a hospital, and in one of the rooms I found some ‘Mr. Stem Cell’ machine. So naturally, with no idea of what it does, I decided to try it out. After bypassing security, I tried some kind of stem cell treatment. All of a sudden, a needle with a ‘bone and enmael treatment’ gets injected into my character’s eyeball and now his bones “feel like they’re crumbling.” Also, instant 87 pain from doing that.
What the hell did I just do!?!?
Mr. Stem Cell has to melt your skeleton first in order for it to grow back stronger!
So…will I get the Strong Back trait from this?

Nah, that’d be cool if it did, though. So really, for future reference, Mr. Stem Cell is a way of healing broken limbs back from zero hit points, but if you’re already in good health when you use it, it malfunctions and just causes damage and pain. Sounds like reason for a lawsuit, but I digress. Damage isn’t permanent, though.

Also if it hasn’t been changed it’ll clean you of any mutations you may have gathered.
Not entirely certain, as I did not have a list of my skills at the time, but I had zero construction, less than 7 mechanics (couldn’t install it for at least one, possibly two levels?), and not sure on my fabrication or electronics levels which are currently six and three. And this was disassembling it using the construction menu. Hope that helps, sorry I cannot be more exact.
Hello guys,
I have my computer skill at 5 by reading the books but at which level should I start to hack computers and how do I do it? I also have a usb stick with a hack pro, can I always use it?
Also: what is the use of the “serving area interface” and how can I repair the radio tower to send signal (can I do it all )?
Thanks alot
Serving area place is there so you break it down into parts. It serves no other purpose. Good if you want pipes, scrap metal and wire to make a fence around your base.
Computer skill of 5 is good for hacking, you can get away with 2 skill in computers if you have a weapon that can one-shot manhacks (pneumatic assault rifle) and just keep trying.
Afaik, you can’t repair radio towers.
Ok thanks, I have another question: what do I need to repair/refit metalic objects, like havy armor from museums or aluminium bats?
soldering iron or welder.
I tried it with the welder, it says your aluminium bat is not made of plastic, metal, kevlar. Yes, aluminim is not a metal…
Then solderin’ iron.
Aluminium requires vastly different soldering/welding tools, namely at very least fluxes, due to specifics of metal. And as far as I know, aluminium bat cannot be reinforced.
hmm, ok, I am noob at vehicles, can you tell me please how I can remove tires from cars to put them on other cars? Also, if I have a full battery from a car can I load a motorbike battery via jumping cable with it?
