How is that possible that I hear fighting noises (growl, explosions) underneath my car, with nothing on the overland map showing any building like 10 overland tiles around (240 tiles). Is it possible there is a secret building entrance or that a tunnel from a lab runs for miles under ground?
A tunnel is perfectly plausible to be under essentially any map tile.
Keep in mind there are multiple tunnel types: subway tunnels, lab tunnels, ant tunnels, natural caves, etc.
But without any entrance? And how can you enter them?
Entrance can be any number of overmap tiles away.
A pickaxe or jackhammer will let you construct a down stairs.
The other option is to just BAKOOM away.
Large enough explosions create craters that go several Z-level deep, and you can climb the newly formed slope.
There’s one irradiated wanderer in my kill list. Obviously, I have no idea where I’ve found him. So, how do I find Necropolis? AFAIK it’s the only place they can spawn in, and I’ve finished that questline so the place itself CAN spawn, so it should be on my map, right? And there should be more of them… but searching through the world directory looking for “wanderer” shows me exactly one match, the one in the kill list itself. Could it be so they can spawn somewhere else?
They can spawn at least one other place that I can think of, though if you did go there I’d of thought you’d of run into a lot more then just one.
Spoilers:
There is a garage with a shed at the back with some lockers in it, if you pull out one of the lockers you’ll find a stairs down. Careful, there are turrets at the entrance.
Is anybody else having an issue with bloated zombies poison lasting too long?
I used a spear to kill a bloated zombie and quickly ran out of the gas but the poison effect nearly killed me later on after it lasted for three in-game hours taking my head health nearly all the way down, and the stat effects almost screwed me over as-well.
I understand there’s a direct counter to this by just using a gas mask but is it supposed to be this OP for a zombie that spawns quite frequently?
I had glass-jaw but my head-health was pretty much at max health when I first encountered the gas.
3 in game hours seems pretty balanced and in line with previous experiences. Using range is another counter.
Couple of questions:
- My character got Deadened trait but is still in pain from applying medical serum (pain level slowly goes down, though). Working as intended or no?
- Same character seems to somehow lost the ability to see exact HP of limbs despite having Self-aware trait. Was the trait changed, or maybe some other mutation prevents me from seeing it? Kinda went post threshold yesterday so it may be that. Can still see pain level as numbers, and activating SA still shows health message with number, too.
Heey, i have a problem, i have befrindet a Cow and now i want to leed it back home, but i cant, i can tie it but thats the only thing i can do, how do i get it home?
I usually ride them home.
Hmm i cant do that, it says i dont have the skill to ride it without a saddel, but i dont have one.
If it isn’t following you generally it’s beause there are hostiles in the area, if there are you might want to go kill them first if not or that doesn’t work then riding skill I think is based on driving skill so you could leave it a while and come back for it later. You could also go find it a saddle or you could find/construct a livestock carrier and attach it to a vehicle and drive it home in that.
Thx for you advice i will try!
RL explanation of how this works:
Summary
I’ve never seen sausages so fresh before.
I just estimated 3 hours it might be more, I kept trying to fall asleep after taking codeine but kept waking up, the badly poisoned effect only lasts less than an hour but the poisoned effect damages pretty frequently and lasts for a bit.
I just don’t remember the bloated zombies being that OP last time I played and interested in knowing if something had changed since.
Yeah it seems they were buffed somewhere along the line, also boomer zombie gunk seem to irradiate you.
