I’m mounting a weapon onto my vehicle; it’s a L523-LMG. No issue mounting it normally. However, if I were to add a gunmod to the weapon, it’s no longer mountable. Vehicle menu does not recognize me as having a L523-LMG. Is this behavior intended?
The gunmods I tried were brass catcher and suppressor, but I suspect anything that makes a gun +# would have the same result. Same goes for other weapons.
AFIK it is intended, since it happens too with other recipes, like having an electric forge with the UPS mod , it gets locked for the recipe of a vehicle forge rig, and same with the welders
ok quick question.
If I was to run a cable between a “vehicle” fridge and some solar panels outside, running through a open window. Would it be possible for me to close up that window again without it distrupting the cable I set up between the two “vehicles”?
Secondly, less of a question and more of an inquiry. Would it be possible to create a construction feature that allows you to build a electrical port onto a wall that could act as a connector between a indoors “vehicle” and a outdoors “vehicle”?
Sorry for the second question, just now came to mind.
i Dont think so, since vehicles cant pass through window frames (you need to take them out and only leave a hole on the wall) can be wrong though, and in case im correct and it doesnt work, you can surround the window with vehicle walls something like a horse show to surround your solar panels, or just block the window with the solar panel vehicles car, like if you were moving lockers to block the window
Everything is possible as long as someone wants to code it…
I’ve noticed things now have 2 “prices”, one called “price” and another - apparently, recently added - called “barter value”. If they mean what I think they mean, what’s the point of the “price” value nowadays?
Also, could anyone please explain what’s the actual use of the hackPRO USB? I get it, it’s useful, but for what?
Do gun stores ever spawn working vending machines? I remember reading something like “save your money for those ammo vending machines”, when I just started playing. Since then I’ve never ever found a single ammo vending machine, just some broken vending machines in gun stores (which don’t even spawn anymore IIRC. Machines, I mean. Not stores ). Were they cut from the game, or was it an idea that wasn’t implemented at all? Or maybe it’s just my bad luck?
No to zombies and other monsters, maybe for bandits and NPCs.
There are pretty big penalties for fighting with low stamina, notably a reduction to your speed - can’t swing as fast. Also makes dodging and blocking much harder. If you’re still fighting at half stamina and have several enemies still left, consider how easy it would be to kill the rest, the possibility of them being reinforced, and avenues of retreat
Weight is also definitely a factor.
You want to recharge the heavy batteries that go into the UPS, UPS is like a converter.
There’s a hidden status that can be inflicted by flaming eyes and teleporters. Low levels aren’t terrible but be very careful as there can be some nasty, nasty effects. It largely goes away with time
