Wise words, Lady Godiva.
How do you remove encryption from SD cards?
It’s an option availible via a tablet.
It’s greyed out for me. I need better Computers skill, I’m guessing?
Probably, it isn’t something I’ve ever bothered with early game. What’s your current skill?
I dont know which levels it take you to stop being greyed out, but better try it above lvl5, otherwise is more probable to get the sd card wiped, or maybe i just had bad luck
I’ll keep that in mind; I’ve got no idea how to train Computers so it’s 1 right now, only got there from reading a book. It’s not a skill I’ve explored much, sadly.
You can get to 8 via books, after that (as far as I’m aware) it’s all down to hacking stuff, the terminals in labs that give you map information and lore are my go to passed 8 to keep raising it. I’ve got as high as 10/11 from those, takes a hell of a lot of hacking for that though.
Thanks! I’ll start looking into my stockpiled books - I’ve got a lot of reading todo, it seems!
Is there a way to disarm already-broken robots?
A tool box, high enough mechanics skill, and time.
Would you mind explaining? I’ve tried figuring it out on my own and can’t seem to find the way to do it. I’ve got a toolbox and a broken robot, but none of my Toolbox interaction options seem like they’d work.
thats weird, usually one only needs to stand over it, press b (or your keybind to butcher) and it ask for confirmation
Always have an extra car battery installed in your vehicle. It comes in handy if you need to move another vehicle.
With a “toolkit” in your inventory, stand on the same tile as the robot and try to butcher it. You might also need a soldering iron or welder come to think of it.
Ohhhh! Butchering! Ok, I was under the assumption that Butchering it would simply reduce it to parts, not ‘disarm’ it. Thank you very much for clarifying!
why doesnt my NPC accept my weapon? (its a sling) she says her weapon is better an appears a “0.0 vs 392” afterwards. but she isnt holding any weapon
Perhaps her unarmed skill is better than ranged
Try to give it to her. NPCs tend to use ranged weapons (that’s reloaded) when enemies are far and goes on with melee after firing the weapon or doesn’t have ammo.
I hope this is a valid question, but when one takes on multiple mutations from multiple branches do they experience multiple types of dreams, regardless of them reaching a threshold or not?
Say if I each the slime threshold, would I still have dreams from medical or spider branches because I have mutations from them? Or would the threshold cancel out all other dreams?
