Haha nvm, realize it zaps by activating, not turning it on…

Anyways, I’m going to love stun locking all sorts of enemies with my zap staff/silat combo I’ve got going on, I just need something to train on now…

Does anyone know a good way to reach first aid 3 without a book, I need to make more A-Kits for my cyborg character…

Keep bandaging yourself after getting attacked even if it’s not strictly necessary. Check your recipes for any aid stuff you can craft. If you’re a masochist you can also cauterize yourself for fun.

I just woke up from a dream in which turrets kept resetting on me if they were anything more advanced than basic 9mm. As I just replaced my workshop guardian with a milspec turret, I’m curious as to whether or not this dream has any validity or if it’s just my brain defragmenting itself. Rather not get shot up while I’m sleeping.

I’d just make a backup save and test it. If your turrets shoot you up then I’m looking forward to future prophetic bug reports.

Can you store a battle axe in a back scabbard? I’m currently trying the good ol’ ninjistu and battle axe combo rn…

The weapon should say in its description. “Can be stored in…”

Battle axe can’t be stored in anything unfortunately. I’m playing a Viking character right now so it’s modestly annoying.

Perhaps we could use some kind of belt hook/loop item that works similar to the tool belt and regular leather belt, but functions as a scabbard for maces, axes, and the like.

EDIT: Also unfortunate that the battleaxe can’t be used with the medieval martial art.

You can use it with the ninjustu’s Surprise attack x150% bash damage and x200% cut damage, currently am doing 134 damage with a crit with a 11 strength character

Grappling hooks don’t appear to be working…

Jumped down a z level with one in the inventory and still took damage from the fall, only about 6 though

I forgot grappling hooks existed. Do you have to activate them or something?

Don’t know, it says it will keep you safe from a fall, but it shouldn’t matter I guess, at least one of the devs said it shouldn’t matter

This is kind of bothering me now.

I was hoping I could figure out some combination of city size and spacing that I’d find acceptable, but mapgen just don’t gen like it used to. Now I’m really missing my large sprawling suburbs and densely-packed commercial CBD back when size 16 would actually produce a big town. I’m also struggling to find grocery stores and other bits and pieces, idk.

Does anyone know if this is a bug or intentional change?
