Just a curious thought for projectile-based neutral mutations… not sure what concept those projectiles would be based on, so I’m going to need help on that part.
Doesn’t this already exist as a monster special attack?

Not much mutations that aren’t melee centric are in the game. I could be wrong.
Well, there are always the mother of all biological weapons… the bioweapons in Guyver. All those sonic guns, tesla blasters, gravity weapons and laser cannons. Although that stuff is perhaps closer to biomechanical genetic engineering/nanotechnology than the random blob mutations currently in CDDA.
Poison spit would be a cool thing to have. Although we would need a poisoning system first.

OH, you mean as in mutations that give you a projectile attack! I thought you meant projectile attacks that give you mutations XD
Yeah, that’d be interesting to have a spine shooter (a la Hydralisks from Starcraft), or an acid spitter, or something like that.
Stab people with your long-ranged stabby tongue!
Plant mutants should have a range snare attack with their roots or others…
+1 Pun.
