A new launcher is possible ?

Old launcher not good enough

Need Mod database for launcher and itself all modders should upload to there
Just a self update able launcher can do all of this. Database is old or changed ? launcher updates itself to keep track(old launcher have built in game updater) . Bug in Launcher?
New designs for launcher? I think you get it if you add something to launcher in future it becomes possible with this

There is no infrastructure for mod database, but you can create one and collaborate with @remyroy to utilize it, alternatively you can fork it or create new launcher from scratch.
