Needful things (simple additions to improve the game)

It just occurred to me that the game’s survival gear lacks collapsable bottles and straws that ARE water filters. Or, now that I think of it, belts that are made from paracord for climbing in/out of sinkholes (and later Z-levels)

Make powered electric stuff inch as shocker zombies, working consoles, powered transformer machinery (if implemted) provide small amounts of warmth. Or a “makeshift space heater” you can make out of heating element + lotsa batteries + tape/string and wire that works like a loft strip except for heat.

Also, the ability to make painkiller medicine out of cannibis.

I really think base building would be more attractive if players could construct a long range teleporter from lab whatnots. Or maybe just loot one of the prototypes that caused the cataclysm.

Wish we had prefabricated walls and roofs to use.
Like craft one from two wooden frames and planks.
Or add plywood sheets for that.
it wouls have lower durability than properly built walls but it would be a fast alternative.

yeah, but then you have to take the time to prefab the walls, and then transport the huge clunky things.

It would still have a role withing certain playstyles.
Just another decent reason to loot hardware stores or a home improvement one.

plus, it’d be good to have a few prefabbed walls ready incase a brute busted in and you have some emergency patching up to do

Oh definately

Ability to use the borderless/normal fullscreen option on the console versions.

I need a recipe for a hydrogen canister.
This should not be difficult, just water, electricity and a compressor.
There is already a diamond matrix and plasma weapons, and the hydrogen can not be obtained.

I believe the hydrogen you are referring to is actually a rare and artificially created isotope, or something along those lines. It’s purpose is to be rare and hard to find, so being able to make it would defeat the purpose. If you are referring to the fuel used for vehichles, I think that is different and more readily prevalent? I don’t know of a reason of the top of my head not to have it craftable.

A hydrogen + oxygen cutting torch would be neat to have. Carsandwater on YouTube uses one all the time.

Not enough input text on the possibility of other languages to search for items on the screen Inventor and crafting.

UPD: Thank you, thank you very much!

I have a fair few suggestions to throw in the pile.

stripper clips/chargers for faster reloading of internal box magazine rifles and detachable box magazines, along with certain rifles that where equipped to use both
magazine modifications to allow some rifles to use detachable box magazines(example being the SKS, which is often modified slightly to allow it to take AKM magazines)
.303 British ammunition and weaponry. There are still a fair few SMLEs knocking about new england, along with the odd Lewis gun, Brens and even a Vickers machinegun or four. Plus, canada is right next door.
the ability to make custom professions from within the game, possibly based upon system where the total ingame worth is related to point cost. Probably the most complex thing in the suggestion list.

There is a chainsaw, a combat chainsaw and a chainsaw lajatang currently in the game.
Also an electric chainsaw.

I would like to have the option to craft an electric combat chainsaw, that has less volume then the combat chainsaw, but is (maybe) heavier?
Also an electric chainsaw lajatang would be awesome. One with a little bit less improvised duct tape, more electronics / fabrication / mechanic working.
I was thinking a mix between chainsword and Darth Maul Lightsaber?

It could do a decent ammount of blunt damage if it’s turned off.
Once it’s turned on it would do loads of cutting damage, but have a massive -hit penalty, because moving that thing arround with both ends spinning would be pretty hard.

Could be a bit OP, but i think it’s a fun idea, and would add to already existing stuff

Edit: Also, once you are high enough in cooking, you could unlock Soylent powder? Not the green stuff, but the one that has all the vitamins and calcium and everything else that you need to survive. If possible make it completly out of stuff you can grow and produce yourself? Would reduce the need to micromanage all the nutritional stuff later in the game, when you’re sitting on piles of dehydrated meat/vegtables/fruit/fish anyway.

Not enough implants CBM reordering function (in the p menu). Similarly, a change of clothes on the order enter (in the + menu).

Management implementation: (in the menu p), select the bionic, enter, arrow up/down, enter.
Effect: visual only.
Implementation: The change order bionic in save files.
Objective: To establish order.

Silk manufacture.
Add silk moths (larvae, cocoon, male and female), mulberry trees to pick leaves from and a bunch of recipes to make silk thread, silk cloth and stuff made out of silk.

“Dive for it” action, where you can use dexterity+dodging to launch yourself a few spaces. Uses a lot of stamina and adds a lot of recoil and you can only use it when running at least one tile without being grabbed.

Usage case: If a turret or chicken walker is down a corridor and you’re on one side and there’s an open space on the other side, launch yourself over there and get a dodge bonus for maybe a single potshot.

Currently you can’t really do that, because every step they’d get an autofire volley at you.

“Roll for it”: The sneaky version of dive for it, failing means you make a lot of noise.

Leap is a reasonable feline or spider trait.

Not sure how believeable that would be. Dodging military grade aim bots by diving/rolling.
